If we were getting just £5 a container that would be like minimum £400k a month I would very happy to wait for the signed Tema contract and I suspect our SP would reflect this as well. The few hundred thousand would barely cover the first month.
Why can't PF say there's a lot more to come as the 'on account' is only a small proportion of the income and when we would expect the balance....on signed contract?
A few hundred K will barely pay the wages and surely they can't expect us to carry on ad infinitum on this 'on account' basis. If so, this reflect badly of PF judgement that he is happy with the basis.

Good update except for Tema Income.

We had 21k TEU's in July and 65K TEUs in September. These are known figures and if we are being paid on account then I wouldn't be happy with this whilst we wait for the contract.
Let's assume we did 100k TEU's in July to September (probably 15k is more) and just 65k a month for the rest of the year (let's exclude December) that adds up to 230k TEUs.
We don't know how quickly they pay us but several hundred thousand dollars doesn't justify the statement that they are happy with the payments on account. Even if we just look at July to September this is only a very modest on account amount per TEU.

I don't get why the increases they are complaining about are like 100%. I understood the increases to be about 12% in line with the concession agreement which was close to their inflation since the beginning of last year.

I would wager there isn't single one of us on here that hasn't done what you did at some point. Could just as easily gone the other way....and we've all done that as well.

In all my years in trading I don't think I can remember where there were so many apparently misreported trades (e.g.Smudges 100k purchase) and in this instance buys shown as sells.
They're pretty easy to work out but then I got confused as if all those I worked out were buys and not sells why didn't the price go up.
It's of little consequence but just rambling whilst we wait with baited breath.

When these sort of RNS's are issued i.e. to react to a sudden increase in share price you usually see them saying they are not aware of any reason why.
Well, not in this case...here's PF saying here's the reason for the rise and it's justified. If we wanted a hint from PF about whether the Tema contract will happen soon then we've got it.
Bizzare that he reacts to this non RNSable increase in share price with an RNS but wouldn't RNS the contents of the article or the likelihood of the agreement between MPS and GPHA which is the reason for the increase.
Anyway, very happy with the situation and hopefully small increases every day from here til the Tema contract lands. The start of the transformation of WSG

you'll have some difficult decisions along the way. sell at 12p to break even or wait til £5 to retire....or somewhere in between.

He know's it's on us long suffering shareholders radar and so why not give us the good news...even if it is not material enough for an RNS.

I find it hard to believe that the biggest contract on our books, that could come to an end next year, has been extended for 7 years and it not worthy of an RNS. I find that hard to believe that PF thinks that's not worthy of an RNS. Sorry Tosh but ….
