Still keep thinking of the bigger picture ...going to repost as a reminder to me as well ... some of the details may change but I still feel strongly that style of the support needed for ALGW to fly. The idea of two separate JVs with Alpha common to both does appeal to me

BOAGF Fund is operational and run by the Joint Partnership with Slim. The proven methodology of the 5 year running SLIM BlackOak Fund from 2014 to 2019, was KMPG reviewed and audited ..... The BOAGF partnership then is to use the methodology and its actuary department and ALGW provide DS and AK ( who is full time Investor Relations ) for increased exposure and investors in the US ... so basically we can forget this on going strategy product, for the moment.

The JV is for the other 3 strategies, notably the Hybrid Fund with its 8-9 figure institutional investors and this is where DS time is really devoted. Rebello supported DS with actuarial models for these serious high value players. Colva acquisition became a back burner and possibly never to be actually bought as Rebello still worked with its existing client base. Job done Rebello returns to Colva, his company, and is paid 2m shares for his services ( which still can be called upon, as and when). Blackstone now provide the finance for the Hybrid fund, via Jason Sutherland.
Hence the two separate JVs running in tandem as The Combined JV Theory

is absolutely primed for take off. No guarantees of course but it rarely looks better than this. A little good news now could see this into the next significant up swing. Nearly 4 million more buys than sells in the last week with the MMs working really hard to try and snaffle enough shares to keep afloat. Something has to give soon.

Next week is going to be pretty sensational here. Look at the dogs dinner of the rest of your portfolio and then think, ALGW has been the only stock chipping back up nicely.

Whilst I am not happy with the overall level of the SP, I do have to say that out of the carnage the red in the market over the last week, I am pleased that we are blue.
Monday, is March 2nd. Hearing early to mid March I am going to suggest The week beginning Monday March 9th for our Update . It's been a long time since December 2nd 2019. Those weeks have been long !!!!

Working with a "top 5" UK asset manager for the credit facility and linked 10-year life Hybrid bond issue, collateralised by LS assets. "Hopefully in place soon here". Having "daily communications" with them.
Couple of other projects (i.e. funds linked to LS) progressing with discussions, including for segregated managed accounts.
Getting accelerated level of incoming enquiries for their BOAGF from US-based financial planners, given the general market turmoil.
Relationship with Colva (Rajiv Rebello)is very relaxed. Rajiv wanted for personal financial reasons a change in his remuneration package so is very much a part of the Alpha team, and will be receiving 2mn shares in compensation.
Having Colva AND SLIM's actuarial expertise to look over the LS asset buy packages is a plus, as they bring differing insights and methodologies, with improved knowledge and pricing.
Didn't touch on the likely timing of the CF, and the stories going round the BBs. GS has a low regard for much of the speculation and language used in these places, saying that investors should only pay attention to what comes out of the company in official RNSs. Quite right too!

All in all, I found GS easy to talk to, obviously very busy, very professional, and very bullish about the investment opportunity presenting itself here both to himself and us outside PIs.

I think the worm is turning
This board has discussed, argued, suggested, agreed, supported and shared and now looks as though the rise is starting
Expecting news to be more forthcoming from Algw and GS as the slide seems to have been halted and we hopefully move up from this slump over the last month.
Giles, congratulations on becoming a major shareholder yesterday and as johnny1949 has suggested we may see some more Tr1s,...

Nibbling away again on the Buys and the Bid rises to 1.80p as he Sp hits 1.85p

Nice to read Ophidian as ALGW have managed to avoid the carnage of the markets
The ASK has risen steadily to 1.90p but the BID remains at 1.70p
If the buying excess v sells continues the BID will rise
The spread at the time of posting is 11.76%

I have just sent GS an email, as always, sometimes he responds and sometimes he does not
It is time to put some meat on the bones for private investors to seriously chew on and get this SP up to value much beyond the IPO

-GS is learning that Britain is a small place
-communication of time words and their meaning is different to his USA understanding of them
-maybe this will change when a PR team is in place that understands British interpretation?
- maybe it will change when the RC facilitator is announced?
- maybe a British understanding new director my be appointed? ....lets face it there is only GS and DS as directors and JS as an NED
-maybe.....March will solve some of the points?

My response was quieter in tone but still helpful, but more generic

Its only been a couple of weeks since our AGM results announcement which commented that we are progressing on our strategies. All is still moving along well.

We will be providing updates. In the meantime our small team is busy on building value.

Thanks Ophidian I did not think it was nonsense other wise I would not have posted it. I will bow to your superior knowledge on these matters, I am looking at the prices and the spread of 1.60 - 1.80 that was why I checked the live prices, as well. Please offer me an explanation. I accept and know LSE don't have to indicate Buy/Sell and its classed a trade but those 1.79p sells seemed odd to me.
