It was to show they are willing to 'come in house' and 'play ball' with Blackstone.

whilst I can agree the real news comes from the company itself via the RNS ....a strong collection of ideas has emerged to help inform new and old of the thinking re Alpha Growth growing and investors being willing to buy

After discussions with a reliable and intelligent source of mine
Interesting and sound hypothesis starting to emerge. In essence,

1) Rory and Andrew have left the board,as their roles have been superseded, and as the 'Lender' will most likely want some things to happen before the moneys are released.

2) The Lender will want a couple of their own people on the board

3) 6 months (to ALGW year end) of the RCF in order that ALGW can demonstrate their ability to sell the product and fill the FUM. This is possibly why they are spending more on marketing in the states and Danny has been working '150%' to get a healthy back log of policies 'in process' before the RCF is handed over.

4) This would play nicely into the JV theory too and why it is a 'short term' lending facility

5). We need to keep a close eye on 'new directors'. I hoping also that any new directors bring a degree of UK market facing discipline into the company and we see better comms.

Whilst the departing directors could be selling the 6m of share each for new ventures
Investors have suggested, recently, that Alpha Growth change their broker.... could Novum sell out if Blackstone have a different broker?

Just how close is Number 35 Berkley Square (Alpha Growth) to Number 40 Berkeley Square ( Blackstone) ....across the road, next door???? ....they have to very very close ....any Londoners or anyone to help me out with that one? Nearly next door!! ..please help me out here

BREAKING NEWS
Moving on from the 11 03 post of yesterday and Johnn1949's post at 00 13 today more thoughts/revelations/ evidence comes to light. This is difficult to dispute ...a change of address for Alpha Growth plc. We are all familiar with the Alpha Growth plc registered address of 30 Percy Street...... but .....its changed to 35 Berkeley Square Mayfair London!!!!!!
This move is significant and of paramount importance going forward

We are the company start up supporters and deserve some trappings

Two possible reasons spring to mind ...there may be others?
1. ALGW have to prove themselves to a UK market that they can deliver AUM, in the first instance, before the next drawdown phase of the loan begins
2. The lender joins forces with ALGW and backs them through a JV. The complex negotiations ALGW have been involved in could have included this option, going forward. ALGW could become the sales team and (????) the JV partner could finance it. Hence a USA ALGW team, a UK based financier, together as JV partners in the field of LIfe Settlements

A lot, imo, depends when the Lender's next scheduled meeting is to sign off the successful application
This, imo, will be quickly followed by appointments to the ALGW team and possibly at Board Level to support and monitor the loan. Direct regular contact between Lender and ALGW would be a terrific move forward.
