Could have news here anytime, its interesting to note that 85% of gasol shares are held by institutions and of those around 75% held by AFREN & AFGAS combined. Never seen that on a smallcap before. I have noticed that afren have been very very busy of late so could be pushing for OML 114 to kick off
Its possible there are some bigger orders being processed IMO,this will move back up again for sure when the masses arrive. At current prices gasol is trading near raw value and if there is a sniff of either nigeria or guinea starting this will fly big. Block OML 114 has 750 BCF and a 20 year forecast production life
Yes mate, those 0.45p trades were buys including the 1M trade ( IMO )
Gasol is one of those that i been following for a while now, they have some excellent agreements both in nigeria and the gulf of guinea so if any of these now in play this will get a SERIOUS RE-RATE. By the look of afren,s recent activity in nigeria and the govt there being ticked off by the UN for gas flaring i would say that these gas projects are now being moved up the chain sharpish. Looks like they trying to choke off buys by moving spread wide again, dont think they have too much free float and i dont see any sells yet,all those 0.45p trades were buys i think
Was an easy spot mate, if you look at their recent funding and timeline it looks as if they have been preparing for some sort of corporate action...my guess is nigeria

Morning, agree if they announce nigeria this will seriously multibag mate, found this in a RNS which could be interesting. 750 BCF on block OML 114 "During the exclusivity period, Gasol will have an opportunity to make a proposal to Moni Pulo regarding the development of OML 114, including exploration, development and offtake. -If Moni Pulo accepts the proposal from Gasol, it is then the intention of the parties to work together to conclude definitive gas purchase agreements for development and sale of all of the gas in OML 114 to Gasol. -OML 114 is situated in shallow waters on the coast of South East Nigeria at the mouth of the Calabar River, within a locality that has a number of known gas reserves that could, subject to agreement, be used in due course to augment a Gasol project. -The licence area has been drilled and surveyed since the 1990s and has gas reserves of approximately 750 billion cubic feet 107 million barrels of oil equivalent. -Gasol has commissioned initial pre-feasibility reports which indicate that the available gas could support LNG production of over 800,000 tons per annum for 10 years or fuel a 500 MegaWatt power station for 20 years. -This agreement represents the first step in the development of the Company's new strategy and offers Gasol the important opportunity to secure a known supply of gas for monetization".
No risk here under 0.50p mate imo,and you may even make 30%-40% by mid next week , if they do announce nigeria options it will break through 1p very quick.
Morning mate, i think this will be back over 0.60p within two weeks and judging by recent news releases i would say there is a fair chance that they could announce something on nigeria, afren have been very busy there of late so would not be suprised.
AFREN and AFGAS own over 70% of this company combined, only 15% of shares in freefloat
A good overview on Gasol here found on stockopedia. Gasol PLC seeks to capitalise on acqusition and investment opportunities in the oil and gas sector with a geographic focus in the Gulf of Guinea region of West Africa and specifically on opportunities in the hydrocarbon sub-segment of liquefied natural gas. The company have recently completed a round of corporate funding via loan notes at a significant premium to its current shareprice and look set to make advances on its plans. There could be an exciting period ahead for gasol as they look to monitise various exclusive agreements with large regional players such as AFREN PLC and AFGAS. At todays closing mid price of 0.375p there looks to be SIGNIFICANT UPSIDE on this unique african focused liquified natural gas company. http://www.stockopedia.co.uk/content/gasol-plc-funding-now-secured-to-advance-63226/
500K BUY just gone through
I wonder if the latest and last fundings that gasol have carried out are to advance OML 114 ?
