Yes a potential takeover target with the FDA approval for sure,we have been in a "close period" for a while now as those FDA approvals were expected around end of Q2 so no suprise we heard nothing till now.

I confidently predict there will be alot of eyes of GENI when the FDA news comes and some very serious upside.

Simms,if any offer cam in for Kefi ahead of the first Gold Pour it would have to be at least 3 x first expected revenues which would be around $1.5Bn ( this is the lowball ballpark figure we should be looking at ) in other words still multiples of current Sp and market cap.

I am expecting shortly some news here on a new exciting licence award and potential sale of Saudi or part sale,possibly within the next week or so.

Yes they could get some very serious revenue from just the USA alone,it is the gateway for Global deals ahead

I wonder why Jeff Rayner was with Harry in Addis ? i think these guys are working on something notable in terms of new licence and likely connected with a sale of Saudi or part sale.

Kefi in a strong position on all fronts now and also benefit from a strong balance sheet and huge cash pile :-) standby for news

There is a good chance that FDA approval lands this week IMVHO

Many folks suggest 7.5p on this news but i think 10p+ is more likely given the global reach of the product.

Deedee / Dvh, that is a point that many miss about Kefi - we are actually partnered with the Ethiopian Government and have "favoured status" in the country which means our official processes will be expedited quickly and we also get offered new opportunities that outsiders do not get .For me this just makes Kefi an even more compelling investment and largely de-risks our activities in the country.

Kefi will soon be trading at many multiples of current SP ( of that i am sure ) .

I think when that FDA news lands this will move quickly to 5p+ and then consolidate for a week or so before a push north again ( possibly a big push ).

The placing overhang seems like its on its last throws now - this seller has enabled me to double my holding recently :-)

Saudi news ( possible sale or part sale ) and new assets won will be next news and possibly starting next week IMO

Why is Jeff Rayner with Harry in Addis ? something being worked on in my opinion.

Remember we are now entering a news rich period at Kefi ,next news likely to be either a part or total sale of Saudi assets and or new Asset aquisition in Ethiopia.Saudi sale could net a very tidy sum for the company ( at least half current Mcap ) in my opinion.

Also worth noting the FDA historically make alot of decisions during the period of mid May to early July every year,so maybe not too long to wait here :)

Deedee,yes and like i said he was with Harry in Addis ,my guess is they are looking at something that could be another big shovel ready large Gold resource ,his track record is second to none and has a long record of literally finding great assets in this type of Geology.

I would say Kefi are now a very serious investment for anyone wanting to profit from the Gold boom,our Gold in the ground is currently valued at less than 3% of current Gold Spot prices,that is why Kefi is now the largest holding in my SIPP :-)

We have some interesting and positive newsflow coming on new assets in my opinion and also potential sale of part of or all of Saudi portfolio....adding more today on these lows .

What about the comment about Jibal Qutman expected to be in production this year ? for those not aware this has a Mineral Resource Estimate of 37.0 million tonnes grading 0.76 g/t gold, containing over 902,000 ounces ( and currently has zero value on our balance sheet ) . If its sold alongside other Saudi assets it could fill our coffers with an additional $100m + .

Also have to wonder why Jeff Rayner was in Ethiopia with Harry ? in my humble opinion we are going to get some tasty news on something soon related to this visit.

This is actually a very positive update today :-) everything is ontrack and on time so far and the company balance sheet looking very good now ahead of our transformation into a mid cap producer.Also the new broker appointment is welcome news!

I still think there will be some major news on Saudi coming that will notably add to our market cap near term.

I think there is a good chance of some news next week ....TK update and perhaps something tasty on Saudi :-)

I would expect a fair bit of newsflow during the next few weeks,an update on progress at TK and also an update on Saudi ( even potential sale of Saudi assets ) .There has been a seller here for a while but we can just as easy get back to 1.8p - 2.2p ranges once the updates roll in.

Our Gold in the ground is valued at under 3% of current spot prices - that is insanity !

Can you imagine the press coverage Kefi would get if our chairman won this award - arise Sir Harry arise !

He is well deserving of this award in my opinion
