Dow being the Contrarian again , i see, and calling that 16038 level as res. from below again !! -----at least the Dax plays fair -----

FP --well done , raking em in today !-- just 41 pts. more off a Dow long and 47 pts . off a Dax long for me( points today paid for the seaside trip ( not the shoes (lol)) --out of both again at the mo. ----Gold dropped below crucial 1240 level now ( still a couple of Fres shorts running just in case it keeps heading south ? ) --- Dow around 17038 looks supportive and Dax 9680 also !! -----GL.

FP --Thanks, yes can see what you say makes good sense --using the previous cash close instead of the actual after hours futures .Finspreads call the cash "DFT "and IG Index call it "DFB " --could trade both methods ( cash and after hours futures , but i think using cash closing levels, as you say, works better. ) ----Bye the way closed Dax out @ 9720 and Dow @ 17016 ----long again Dax now @ 9671 out of Dow ---GL.

FP ----Don't understand your Dax Futs. gap of 9711 ? why do use the closing level at 4.30 pm ? i us the Futures high or low which was above 9740 @ 18.10 hrs yesterday and again at 06.00 hrs this morning -----just curious why we differ ? ---GL.

FP/F4/GB----Evening and well done everyone today ---Literally just got back 10 mins. ago from the seaside ( Barmouth again -- better half wanted to go back to buy a pair of shoes she saw last week (lol) ---earlier start , gave us longer on the beach today ---glorious weather--looking for a few trades to go my way tomorrow to pay for it (lol) -----GLA.

GB---You're out of the Orchard again at the mo . ---went long @ 17000 ( courage of one's convictions and all that ) -- was worried for a wee while but back in my favour at the moment . !!--wanted to go long on the Dax but haven't quite got the " nerve" yet (lol) --let's see 9700 again eh ? ---GL.

Dax short closed @ 17001 (65pts. total) ) ---from 9700 up 50 then back to test Futs. low @ 9690 ish (lol) ----Dow short closed out @ 17025 ( 66 pts .) may have found a bottom @ 17022 for now ( that's the theory !! )just one Dax and one Dow long running ( 9706, 17030). ----My FRES long looking a bit reddish in colour (lol) but sticking with it for now !!------GLA.

Morning All -----Well, Dow gap-filled down and more just after i closed my position.I suspect we've all been there and done it ? still damn annoying tho !! (lol) ---got it on the way back up tho for 60 pts .Short from 17091 again ---weakness ahead of data !! ----------F4 , not local but only 75 miles away so not that far really . GLA, stay lucky .

Dow short closed out @ 17100 ( 59 pts) --best pts. haul today i've had in a while ----there's a Futs. gap fill down @ 17067 it may yet decide to fill !! --we'll see ?----GLA.
