Dow is trying to break the downtrend from the 15.10pm 17490 level ----just managed it for 5 mins. ---anything above 17355 should do it now and see some sort of continuation !! ( that's the theory ) ----

Well, i'm trying a long off 17325 --- gotta turn sometime !! ( famous last words ) ------GLA.

FP ----looks like around 17360 has halted the drop for now -----it's looking for a gap !! --- i can't actually see one ? ---so who knows ----- Yes, Ironbridge and all that !! ---you up in Cheshire tho' aren't you ? pretty good up there as well !! FP :- Yes, Dow and Dax are a nightmare still---Dax this morning recovered over 150 points from overnight lows , Dow dropping to 16450 and then up again ------silly stuff !! Tesco doing better than i ever imagined ( GL ) --very overbought in the short term . QPP has done a complete reversal !! GLA.

Late post , can't sleep !! ---Futures all significantly lower as i post --looks like the roller coaster ain't gonna stop anytime soon ? ----GL everyone and good night ----

Short Dow from break of 17700 not 17800 !! ---thought my account was a bit "light" (lol) ---GLA.

I cannot believe that all happened on the Dow ( Dax by proxy ) ----extraordinary ---over a 400 pts. swing !!!! ---- Certainly didn't catch anywhere near all of that --- short from break of 17800 on Dow tho' but bottled it at 17550!!----long 17525 now from the double bottom at 17500 --- A few pts. on a couple of Dax trades ------Dax has recovered a lot better !! New Year Volatility is certainly still here and not disappointing !! --wow!! GLA.

Well , wow is the only word i think to descibe the opening today -----rose as quick today as it fell yesterday !! ---another 110pts off Dow 17800 but could only get in at 9920 on Dax for another 51pts. -----gone short Dow @ 17901 -----GLA.

OIL still not hit the floor !! ---$40/barrel looks the target now ?? I'm banking a few pts. before the open -----gap down may get filled , so being prudent -- GLA.

Well i'm out of the Dow just @ 17662 ( 70 pts.) --that'll do me until it shows some strength towards 17700 or drops to days lows ---GLA.
