Jolly ----hello there , bud !! ---- don't trade the Ftse100 ---more often than not the swings are to small and volatility not enough for a decent trade !! --JMHO tho' , and power to anyone that trades it !! I have two monitors on the go and two s/b platforms live at any one time ( normally Finspreads and IG Index ---sometimes Spreadco or Saturn Trader ) ----allows me to post here for example and trade at the same time --- Dow just attempting to push thru' the 10.12 am high @ around 17460--so its's out for me again ( 64 pts. ) GL.--keep the faith (lol) ---

GB-- Gold, wow ----hadn't even noticed !! -----F4 will be jumping up and down with joy !! 1250 may be a good level for a small short --risen very quickly , will check out the Techs. !! Dow doing a "blinder " now i see --have just pushed the long button again at 17400 ---jesus , no time to spit !! GL.

FP ----Agreed , all over the place atm. --but i cannot keep away !! I did the opposite to F4 and went short @ break of 17400 to bank 75 pts.. I am now long tho' from the first 1 min. RSI oversold indicator at 17309 ( 11.38 am ) since the big drop !! Has stubbled just above the 17360 res. level ---so i'm out for another 50 pts. Get back in there FP !! -----you know it makes sense and you want to !!! Just an interesting observation , nothing more ----but others can have Orchards a plenty and be 150 pts. down on an overnight posn. and that doesn't attract any attention -- -- some trade the i minute rsi levels successfully with no orchards and no running losses except a healthy s/l and seemingly attract severe critisism -----funny old world !! I had a dabble in PMO a couple of days ago --doing quite well atm . Tesco short in the money also and QPP coming back a little Wish you GL ---get back trading this volatility ---( not that difficult (lol)

Good Morning Everyone -----Dow found another cliff , i see ? F4 -- very well done on your Dow trade !! Dow closed out 17560 ( 160 pts/pips ?) SirG ---nice to see you back !! Don't be too " reckless " on your trading guys (lol) GLA.

FP ---One last late entry --Dow found that gap i posted about earlier that i couldn't see --turned out, eventually, to be that last intraday low of Jan.6th @ 17255 -bounced right off it !! GL.

Dow has reached 17476 --that's just 4 pts. shy of my earlier posted level ---pretty damn good i think !! ---the Dow , i mean , not my post (lol) ---- GLA .

Mark-Expat --- just having a bit of fun with you , bud ----makes life a bit more interesting while trading (lol) ---always did take on board what you originally posted ---been called a lot worse than "reckless " ---water off a ducks back !! FP / F4/GB --Have been long from break of 17400 again ----a little supportive candle going into the close which, byrights, should bode well for tomorrow ---time will tell !! GLA.

FP --Good Evening ---the roller coaster ride continues --the afternoons downtrend was finally broken at around 19.00 hrs. when the Dow rose above that 17300 level --that was the entry point ----banked some good moves but can never seem to adhere to my own rules (lol) ----apols. for evenings bb disruption .---- GL.

Mark -Expat --- You simply are unbelievable !! ---i do not require anyone to "feel sorry" for me --- What i would have expected from you, however , was an apology for your insult when you posted that my trading style was " extremely reckless " -- Those two paragraphs are completely different. I too have been trading for well over 40 years ---traded options , s/b's , you name it i have bet on it , using every system out there . ---i have no real need to make millions any more and by the same premise i am not worried about losing some money either ----retired and extremely comfortable off i can afford a more " open " trading style -- i find it exciting and rewarding ---but that does not give you the right to insult me in the way you have -----i have no desire to "stick to the holy grail " as you put it, in my trading style --boring (yawn) ----

I would ask that you ( mark-expat) refrain from posting to me directly as from now --it will not get a reply from me --but if you do and it is in any way a personal insult it will get reported ----

Mark-Expat ---shared observation and a trading difference of opinion is one thing ------an out and out insult to a fellow long time professional trader is something completely different ----wholly unacceptable and totally inexcusable !! 80% /20% just means that i profit from 8 out of 10 trades ----the 2 i do not profit from have adequate s/l's in place to minimise my losses ----exactly as any trader would do ---- As i am not going to get an apology from you for your unacceptable insults here tonight , i will not not reply to you again ----btw i have just been stopped out on that 17360 long @ 17390 for yet another 30 pts. ---by my maths that makes it about , well, an aweful lot of pts/money today -----i shall be going long again on any rise and hold above the 16400 level !! ----

FP/GB/F4 -----if you wish it i will take a break from posting here ---i feel deeply offended and am ashamed that i felt the need to reply in such a manner --this has always been a friendly , good natured bb and now i feel i have its rep. has been "tarnished" with his insults and my reply -----GLA.

Mark-Expat ----I can read the Indicies as well as anyone posting on this or any other bb --my success bears witness to that fact !! I do not profess to get it right everytime , certainly not, but my average is running at about 80% ---- My trading style may not fit perfectly into your " world" or anyone elses ----just as a closing note i went long at 17274 and have just closed @ 17364 for another 90 pts . ---how have you done today sir , i would be eager to know !! How dare you , how dare you insult me in that way !!

mark-expat ----I'm sure you do have an opinion !! ---I enjoy my trading style and as yet have not lost any pts. ( money today) ---in fact i am hundreds of points /pounds too the good !! You have no idea if i am hedged in any other market against these drops ? I sincerley hope you mean well in your post as i would not like to think that this board has dropped to the level of insulting others trading ability ! To call me reckless is seen by me as an insult to my trading ability and would ask that you refrain in future from insulting my trading style/ ability.-- Offer advice , if you feel the need ------but please do not insult me by calling me reckless -----!! This is the first time i have known anyone on this bb stoop to such levels and i really do not like it or see it as necessary !!
