F4 --Good Morning . Looked at Gold and this is just my take on it at the moment . --- Well over-extended on the Daily ( rsi 77.7 -overbought ) -- Very Bullish with next TP around 1320 --- I am short from this mornin's high , and double-top at 1303.---initial TP 1280 and then 1240 before rising to perhaps 1340.-- As i say, JMVHO ---- GL.

F4 ---cheers ---good trading style , i like it !! Can't believe the Dow spike --just closed at 17523 ( 140 pts ) ---it may even go again !! GL.

F4 --- i need you to tell me when you're thinking of going short or long Gold --i need toget in on some of that "action " ---(i suspect FP would like some of the action as well (lol) )----- i jest, of course , but it would be nice if i could get my "act together" on Gold as well !!!! ---GL and well done .

BTW i've been Dow long since the last test/hold of 17380 on the 1 minute rsi oversold ---GLA.

Whether the news coming out of Ukraine now is having any appreciable effect on the Dow remains to be seen !! --but Ftse seems to have largely ignored it's big brothers wild gyrations !! ( for the moment ) -- That's extremely good for my share posns. ---hansome profits banked today on my last Aviva and Esure longs . Two old favourites , Carclo and Ashtead motoring higher again !! QPP (84 p) and Premier Oil ( 129p ) longs also motoring on . Another old shorting favourite recently gave me 20 pts. and is now back above 24op again --time for another short soon , i think !! BRIT is my only disappointment at the moment !! Dow has tested the 17600 level ( mainly on the overnight Futs.) 5 times in as many days and been unable to hold ----it goes without saying that once this level is held , hopefully , with a supportive candle going into the close -----then it's clear air up to 17800 and perhaps as far as 17900 -------once past there the highs at 18000 and above are there for the taking !! At the moment, however , it seems to be having a problem with breaking out from around that 17440/ 17450 ish. level on todays 1 minute chart!!--- The dips below 17400 and just recently 17380 have been quickly reversed ----so we have a floor to work with , altho' the channel between 17380 and 17450 may be , understandably, a bit too wide for some to be comfortable trading --- Waiting for that break and hold of 17600 is the safer trade , that being the case !! JMVHO everyone ---GLA.

Ftse100 doing extremely well to maintain a foothold above 6600 ----- Dow trying to hold the 17740 break as i write ---all good stuff to trade with ----- GLA.

Yes, same old pattern on Dow ---17600 short order filled this time @ 17600 ---only had a tp of 100 pts. ---but the drop's added a few more than that for me !!! ---holding pattern between 17400/ 17440 ish ,i see, at the moment !! GLA.

Dow and Dax behaving very predictably on the 1 minute !! Dow just bounced off res.supp. 17463/64 -- Dax bounced yet again off 10200/5--- My Dax order got missed ( just ) and my Dow order ---annoying !! Both appear to be in i minute downtrends now since around 14.15 pm --- GLA.

FP ----went short Tesco again @ 226 p this morning--managed to squeeze 5 pts. out of it just --- GL.

F4 --Point taken and i will now stop doing it --but just as a last word from me on the subject --it was not me that waded in on this "gentlemans club" as you quite rightly put it and for the first time --since i have been on this board --- thought it "right" to break the rules of the "club" and cause out and out offence is calling a fellow club member ---and i quote " Extremely Reckless " in his trading style !!!!!!!!!!---- I still consider an apology in order !!! But as you say , maybe wearing a little thin now for all fellow club members !! ---i will , therefore , cease and desist now and put an end to that particular thread !! GL.--- F4/All

Anyone that jumped on the Dow's 1 minute downtrend reversal and went long @ around 174545/50 is now 100 pts. to the good !! ( should've been me (lol) ---- GLA.

Hymm --should have traded the Dow as well !!! ---today's deliberate mistake (lol) --- The last Dax long, however , has added another 60 pts. to my total so far !! ----out now at 1285 ---happy with that ---Dax has found this mornings Fut's 1280 level -----time to see where it goes from there ?? GLA.

Good Mid Morning All --well, no Dow today , so will be interesting to see how Dax and Ftse100 perform in the abscence of " Big Brother . ( Big Brother , now that's a TV show with a difference , this year (lol) ---- Not bothering with the Dow at the moment ----but a savvy trader could have made a bob or two by going short @ near 17600 in the early hours !! Have , however, traded the Dax ( carefully) 5 times off the obvious line in the sand @ 10200 ---has only given me 80 pts. in total -----but ok for a quiet morning .!! Ftse100 actually crossed back above 6600 for a wee while ----well done Ftse !! Remember everyone ----stay real , stay positive but if you feel like being RECKLESS in your trading from time to time ----then go for it ( it's your money !! )------ GLA.

And the Volatility goes on !! ---Dow Futures , down 44pts, ---up 130 pts, ---down 105pts.---- and that's just in the last 3 hrs. ---- what a carry on (lol) GLA.
