Yes, and still the best performer of the big three ( tsco, mrw, sbry ) since the turn of 2017 . Shorting has no " direct" effect on the movement of any stock BUT the ebbing of confidence that the market attributes to stocks that are highly shorted can put severe restrictions on it's ability to move forward . Don't know why Sainsbury's has had that label for so long ---- if the shorting was ever to relax a bit then who knows what & where the SP would be atm. --- GL sir ---

Lol --- I have an inkling that the next tip was going to be PSN ( Persimmon) --- risen over 12.8% in the last 5 weeks. Overbought now tho' !! --- Missed out on going Long on AHT ---- been a very good " trader " for me over the years . Was up early to read the results RNS --- not very inspiring , so closed my position at 217.5p for a + 3.6% gain , and exactly £750.00 , which is disappointing but way better than the loss i would be in atm if i'd have held on . Happy with that under the circumstances ---- may be back in that one , will be watching closely now . Yes, did say that it was a formidable ( technical) barrier to get past on this one ---- it's till looking good tho' so no problems at this level atm. I don't trade on stochastics --- just tend to peer occasionally what the fast & slow are doing but they're like most other indicators ie. very lagging . But that's the nature of the beast isn't it ------ i trade primarily using rsi , moving averages and of course the all important trend channel !!--- Each to his own ---- i'm not in the business of "****ging " others methods off like like old Liberals do !! Task , evening sir --- Remarkable turn around from about 2.30pm ---- Closing sp is given as 175.8p --- which just about equals the recent high of late december 2016. It had a little look above the 176p parapet just before the close and didn't like what it saw !! So that's the first look and fail --- i did say it would struggle to do it first time of asking , didn't i , so i feel vindicated on that score --- But let's get it up past there please , the next time of asking !! (lol) --- GLA ---- doing very well so far .

Posted a wee while ago that i would expect a rise to 580p once 560p had been taken out -- Got to 580p + this morning just before 9 am ---- dropped back a few pence from it atm . Close above 580p and 600p is the next target !!-- GLA -----

Morning task ----- yes, everything in mumbo jumbo land looking as tho' we might just be about to re-test the channel bottom again now, which is a great shame . It just doesn't seem to be able to get a firm grip above the 500p level -- very stubborn !!! The recent 507 / 508p closing tops have to be taken out now --- but it may just give us a close tonight above 500p , everything crossed ( which it is a smidgen above as i post this ) and that would be a small positive sign. I've still got one Long posn. from 501p , so will have to watch carefully. GL sir ----

2012 --2014 , 250p up to 1100p & back down to 250p !!!! ---- Good Luck if you're considering going in !! ----- Not for the feint hearted !! ---- I'd personally be waiting for a close above 390p --- that would give a much better technical clue as to whether any small perceived recovery may be on the way up to at least 430p /440p .
