I might be entirely wrong( somebody correct me please if i am ) but i always thought that Insurance claims due to bad weather etc etc were sort of pooled resource funds by members of the British Insurers ? so that one bad winter or natural disaster would not put any individual insurance company out of business. !! RSA 's main problem still lies internally more than externally . Just my op. everyone GLA.

From Ftse 250 straight into Ftse All Share -passed thru' the Ftse 350 without as much as a "hello " or " goodbye ". !!--- don't know where this one's going in the immediate short term ? -- closed my position for a small profit again( more luck than judgement) -- I think i will wait now until at least 900 p is broken. -- But VGLA if you're in for the longhaul. -----

But i can see why ,cos if FGP can claw its way up to 125-126 ,and hold then the gap, screaming to be filled above, goes all the way to 180, then 220. --Dare we all hope for this seemingly impossible scenario to come true . ?? We should have a couple of non trading days every week , it may do wonders for this share (lol) GLA.

Like i've got the board to myself again today. --- The lager's in the fridge , the better half is making the trifle and i'm watching the news about the terrible weather conditiones in the south-east , thanking my lucky stars i'm up in the west border area. Yeh, i knew it would happen--- Lowered my Stoploss last night to try and beat the drop on open ----took me out @ 791 this morning -----Went straight back in but running a catch-up loss now . Know how you feel exactly. GL to you and merry xmas to all.

Guys . i think you're spot on , my account says 335.5 p close ---will drop straight thu' my stop at open !!! If it's going out of Ftse 250 then 250 Tracker Funds will have dropped it . Going to be difficult short-term for DIA . Sub 800 p looks likely now ? But GLA and have a merry xmas what ever happens here.

Are a different thing altogether-- even i don't go down that route , but i know many do ----charges incurred trading CFDs are a lot higher than Spreadbetting , unless you deal in large amounts all the time . ----No charges for spreadbetting , just deposit as little as £100-00 in most cases,. on account,and that will let you buy and sell perhaps £1000.00 worth of shares or indices depending on that particular shares "deposit requirement "----It's sort of a geared trading system ,if you like . CFDs (contract for difference ) have fixed commission rates and are usaually not "rollable" in the same way as Spreads. ----By the way £ 10600-00 is not a lot of profit to have accumilated in any one tax year --many people are making substantially more than that, just perhaps not declaring it ??? Just try spreadbetting, go online and apply for an account with IG Index or Finspreads, deposit just £100.00 or so and give it a go----- The markets and shares and indices it can make available to you is brilliant . and makes for a more interesting and diversified trading day.------------GLA.
