2013 was the first year since the uptrend began in 2009 that the Dow Jones has remained higher than its january starting level. thru-out the year ----course being the "sheep " it is the Ftse100 has done the same .-----what will 2014 do ?? Someone's shaken my crystal ball , i'm afraid, so all i can see is snow flakes. ( i'll get the sledge out of the garage once i've put me waders on to get there .) --------------lol---GLA.

i was short from 16520 , so got stopped out on the opening gap for a level trade. ---Went short again when the second attempt at 16562 failed . When i got back home after the festivities found i had been stopped out again for another level trade. ---- ------A phenominal rise this year for the DOW , up 3500 points --unbelievable . A pullback is certainely overdue now , but who knows , some are predicting DOW 20,000 by dec 2014.--- I've still got a sell order in for 16610 may add to that depends what happens when they open tonight --------Made a lot on the way up from 13000--don't want to loose any of that if i can help it ---- would like to make a lot more on any downturn as well -- ( i'm just a greedy so-so , lol. ) GL to you ------------------------

This is their first recommendation , as far as i can see, on BTG and they come in with a "SELL " note . Everyone dismisses all other recomms. etc and hence the huge drop this morning. !!! Going to trigger my stop loss @ 560 i suspect . If it does will set another buy level @ 580 p ---- GLA if you're staying in . ---

Sounds like a Russian Spy from a James Bond movie (lol) --- but might be a good gamble at that.--Classic reverse head and shoulders in early dec. @ 56 p , so the Bottom has been seen . ------I would need to see it close above 75 p ( resistance ) to go long with a stop @ 68 p .----upside is choppy but has promise .----

Short on the DOW @ 16520 ( in a bit of profit already ) -- Looks ripe for a small pullback , then i think as long as the FED doesn't do anything too suddenly ,it will probably rise to new highs towards May 2014 , as in the previous 5 years. ( course this could always be the year it comes CRASHING down , as some doom-mongers are predicting !! Tricky business this Share business. ---- we must all need our heads testing to be bothering in the first place. ----But then life's too short to be "Steady Eddy " all the time ( sorry Eddy ) LOL. I don't subscribe to Moneyweek but i do subscribe to Shares Magazine every thursday. --- Any "tip" given by any broker,pundit or analyist , i always do my own research after reading and make my own mind up whether to invest or not. --- As far as FGP is concerned , i still see a gap too be filled if we get past 125-126 . ---- GLA .
