It is very time consuming for little profit -----Things recovered a bit today i see but still very "tenuous" ------Left a FTSE100 "long " running overnight and caught todays rise (lucky) ----May look at the DOW today -----------I'm using Finspreads , (old platform still available , find it easier to understand) for my spreads and MoneyAM Intraday active chart for the FTSE100 daily movement ( i'm simply going long when RSI indicates oversold and going short when RSI indicates overbought , nothing fancy , but it works--but as you say very time consuming )----I don't think the "excitement " is all over yet , but Putin's speech did , i think, calm peoples thoughts off imminent escalation for now !!!!!!------- GL.

defined range now Technically ---Stay above 459 p and get above 467 p ( 50% retrace ) ----Good uptrend still in tact at anything above 459 p -----------------GLA.

fun today going in and out of the FTSE100 on the daily ------Leaving the DOW alone for now , easier with the FTSE , to make a few "quid" ------ haven't sold anything (yet) just moved a few stops down a bit and see where we go from here ---- Everyone certainly a tad "jittery" at the mom. ----GL.

It looks like the americans are a little "spooked" ---Futures showing down about 135 points at the mom.---GL.

waiting for the DOW Futures tonight to see what the "World events" do to them ?? ----Peculiar rise up to 16400 then back down on friday ----Made a bit out of the rise and fall.----Technically anything above 16200 now and it could go to 16500 before showing signs of being "overbought" , but "events" could overshadow that ?? --have actually got a small "short " on the FTSE100 now ( late friday) --Could go to 7000 , who knows , so i may be running a small loss from here , but i don't want to get "caught out" on both indexes if things do go "belly-up" early this year !!!!-------------Just my view , probably totally wrong ? ---GL.

392/393 level is going to be really difficult to overcome for SL, but if it can , then the 420 ish high could be achieved. I agree , although it is somewhat disappointing to see another big drop today , i did personally expect to see it reach the 50% retrace. @ circa 220/225 .It got to 219 ish on 3 consecutive days !!! reasonably close ? ---------It was oversold at 160 p , but interestingly it's showing as "overbought " at 192 p on the daily chart , so expect a drop again from here to reflect this ---Let's see what todays close brings ?? Needs to settle a bit around these levels, perhaps £2.00 in coming days ---GLA.
