From chats people have had with RS, that they do read this board - wonder what they make of what's occurring now, the suggestion that he has lined his own pockets, at the expense of us PI's? Surely that cannot be the case? What irks with me only, is the mismatch between the confidence in the RNS's (pure bluff?) and the complete dismissal of both parts of the claim (save for some small back tax issues). Something is wrong somewhere... five years [nearly] to simply dismiss the claims in their entirety? Let's hope we find out what happened!!

Yes, very strange... I was on it too yesterday, but today, nothing! As I understand it, there was no reply either from the phone in the office. Of course, probably shut down for Christmas/New Year now anyway, but wonder if/when we will hear anything else from Captain Shead... maybe never, and then in six months, it just delists? Sad times for all here.

We will only know what really happened with RS, when we see the report and/or any appeal is forthcoming? He seemed so confident, for so long... was it all bluff, even on the phone, to constant questioners of when the result would arrive! We shall see I guess, in the fullness of time... or until it delists in 6 months!! GLA.

Yeah, indeed, I noted the absence of Vlad since before the announcement. I hope he comes back on with some views soon... he must have lost a few quid I guess here, like us all... not to mention seeing the Uzbeks win, it's not nice!!

Anyone know how long the report will take to be published officially for all and sundry to read? I've seen estimates of one week to one year bandied about, but is there a definitive guideline? How long was it in the Metal Tech case??

SMG used that word below, and indeed, it seems to me that's what this has been? To be so confident, of at least some success... and for everything to be dismissed, it just does not make sense! I enjoyed Christmas with family, but this rankles with me enormously... why, so confident of success by the BOD, we get zilch, nada, nowt, nothing... I know a lot have lost considerably more than me, so it's painful to consider. I hope to see the report, see what was decided; and WHY.

Bad though it is, I do find myself having to agree with Onion on this point somewhat (does that make me a bad person)? Of course, we have not yet seen the full report, but every half-year RNS etc. was "extremely confident" or "confident" and "blatant misappropriation" etc. Never once did I get the impression he thought we would lose to this extent? To get $10m is worse than anyone could imagine, and dismissal of both, still don't understand that!! Even Pettycash (the harbinger of doom and gloom [or reality!]) was predicting low-ball $50m-$80m worst case!! :)

Everyone, as best you can. As many have said, it is Christmas in two days, and peace and love should prevail. This has pervaded my thoughts all day. In one way, I am glad it's over... no more 7AM checking for red dots, nor waiting after hours on a Friday. Some sadistic way though to release this news two days before Christmas... What will Oxus do now, that's the final question - will there be anything left for us, I doubt not much, but will hope for the best. GLA.

Makes sense to me? Why would you appeal if there was bribery and corruption involved? I assume RS has read the final report, so if he's considering appealing, there could not have been anything wrong with the Oxus case. If there was nothing wrong, and it was "blatantly misappropriated" how come we got next to nothing?? Need to see that report...

Maybe saving comment until he's read the report? If it details bribery and corruption, then I think we've all been done up like kippers... we shall see I guess.

RS has "vehemently" denied this to people he has spoken to on the phone. He says he was "told it" by the lawyers, and just passed it along. I know a lot of people have respect for RS, and believe he did just that, but again, it's all proved unfounded and we head into a new year still waiting! The wheels of justice turn SLOWLY for Oxus!! :) GLA.
