Agree Fontenoy , economy is being literally destroyed together with a very messy brexit at the end of 2020 and this unholy mess. I see zero sunlight on the horizon; a reprieve over the summer but come winter the economy will tank to plummeting depths of despair . Will there be a run on the banks ? I think so. As the Airbus ceo said CV19 is 9/11, SARS, and the current pandemic all rolled into one. Recovery will take 3 years but what will be standing in 3 years ? That’s the kernel of this . Commercial loans, mortgages, car loans all are on the brink. No matter if CV19 disappears up in a puff of smoke 2m the irreparable damage has been done. The UKs sh/tshow re brexit will just throw the republic over the edge. On a more positive note .... buy a bicycle if you don’t have one and go for a picnic in the good weather . The banks can’t take off you what you don’t have and this will be the theme going forward unless inventiveness of the highest extreme is executed by those in power. Unfortunately the next generation will have to shoulder a lot of the burden of what’s happening and maybe that’s not such a bad thing.
