Silverhorse, you have imo turned this forum from an informed speculators think tank into a personal blog for yourself. We have had some serious contributions from big hitters here over the years who now have just vanished. Your infantile ill informed “tweets” on this forum has turned what was good informed speculation here into a child’s den.
We have had the above in droves here over the years. Unfortunately Silverhorse had polluted the forum as the top spammer and bullsh/ter. This just drives away the serious commentators as the forum descents into an u18 cesspit of drivel
Silver horse my people are very positive re BOI and sp appreciation. It has been through the ringer but in the cold light of day it’s a oligopoly bank here in ireland if not a duopoly entity. A no deal brexit is so important and it gives quasi clarity now and with covid going through its biggest spike yet but with vaccines of all sorts in the horizon with mass vaccinations being the headline for 2021- all I see now is an upward trajectory for this sp. Glad I didn’t sell my BOI stake even in the worst days.
I note u have taken over the board as the chief crystal ball merchant. Your IAG 97p vision is hog wash.... they are priced today accordingly with shocks included - the dog in the street knew Q1 for all equities would be tough re super post Xmas / new year spikes - Q2/3 life will be better re vaccines etc - people will then travel. We had other crystal ball merchants come in here and say BOI would enter sub euro territory- horses for courses as they say but your 97p prediction is way off the mark
Just went through the figures tonite as my last remaining share on these books - lost a million I reckon since I bought on at the heady days of 9€. Haven’t sold (stupidly and distracted ) so it’s only a paper loss. You couldn’t make it up tbh but your health is your wealth - stay safe folks
Only the brave , the foolish and those with lower spheres made of Platnium would dare invest in this piebald. God be with the days when this share would be of pensionable status- the dog on the street would raise its leg to it now.
In fairness the share itself has become a clowns playground .....the future is bleak re sp for 18months imo. The word take over / consolidation comes to mind with the cries of duopoly.....let’s see but my 37k shares I have more or less given up on
SP is smothered apart from the economic / geo political factors by institutions shorting the ars@ out of the share as reported in the press in recent days. An abused share as they say with millions and millions being made in the back of this . For the little guys , we have no chance for the moment
The 2m rule needs to change to 1m for starters - otherwise the restaurant business is gone to the wall. I genuinely think people will self regulate and if anyone gets too close they’ll be snarled off. We need to get things moving again and I note a kick off off in Shenyang China but if you look at the place or nose Chinese city’s it’s tower block after tower block of living space; we on the other hand are more spread out by a multitude so the cross contamination risk is much less of a risk in these parts . In the mean time Leo won’t budge unless Dr Hollihan says so
Agree Fontenoy , economy is being literally destroyed together with a very messy brexit at the end of 2020 and this unholy mess. I see zero sunlight on the horizon; a reprieve over the summer but come winter the economy will tank to plummeting depths of despair . Will there be a run on the banks ? I think so. As the Airbus ceo said CV19 is 9/11, SARS, and the current pandemic all rolled into one. Recovery will take 3 years but what will be standing in 3 years ? That’s the kernel of this . Commercial loans, mortgages, car loans all are on the brink. No matter if CV19 disappears up in a puff of smoke 2m the irreparable damage has been done. The UKs sh/tshow re brexit will just throw the republic over the edge. On a more positive note .... buy a bicycle if you don’t have one and go for a picnic in the good weather . The banks can’t take off you what you don’t have and this will be the theme going forward unless inventiveness of the highest extreme is executed by those in power. Unfortunately the next generation will have to shoulder a lot of the burden of what’s happening and maybe that’s not such a bad thing.
