George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
I can't believe PIs are happy to risk getting their fingers burnt. The fundamentals are clear (if you have done all your research) - there is no buyer, its winding down, so why on earth would you buy into this?
Is it a case of FOMO, because for me, that is not a strategy, its just plain gambling. You may have got better odds placing all your money on red or black.
Anyone left holding shares because they bought in too late today off the back of what appeared to at the time be a soaring upward share price should only be looking at themselves in terms of losses and not blame anyone else.
I sincerely hope you recoup any losses, but definitely a lesson to be learnt if you have ploughed alot of money in today, hoping to get rich quick, and it hasn't worked. If you have made money today, well done....but I think you were one of the lucky few.
And please DYOR.
Jam - Its a Trading Update, not Results. And if you read the RNS, they are finalising launch plans, so of course this wouldn't be ready to ge included in the Trading Update which was expected this month anyway. Can't go delaying a Trading Update can we....

I really don't understand the chat here around being taken over - this has been going on for a while now. I don't see anything to suggest we will be taken over, just that any offer would also be considered from a shareholder value perspective. But that's normal for any business and not exclusive to i3E. Is this chat going on because there is nothing else newsworthy to talk about? Or is it that we are really hoping for a takeover here just to get some extra wedge of cash because the SP is depressed?

Perhaps because there is no info to tell atm?

GGG - free speech on this board. If you don't want to hear about investors asking questions or commenting on 10 month dividends, just ignore it. The more you tell investors (including me) to stop, we shall continue. Anyway, you are not on the BOD as far as I can tell, so you cannot verify 10 or 12 months - you are guessing too imo. And in the same way that you write extremely long statements regurgitating the same old comments about increasing the divis, bad comms / PR and MS being rubbish (he may well be), I choose to pick through what I find useful, ignore what I don't need and leave it at that.
Please try to get in the festive spirit and don't be a miser.

I'm not sure it is late in all fairness - your comparison is just against last year. I would be expecting this update in the middle of January, including an assumption that the monthly dividend will continue - the usual ex-div cut-off etc will I think mean imo that we'll see a re-start in Feb/Mar like this year....
