I have been dipping in and out and retaining profits in shares for easy pickings recently. Long may it continue .

Sold out my recent trade yesterday for a nice profit.. We have the quiet post Christmas period next so I am not totally convinced nor am I despairing .

Some decent news.

Getrichslow, yes I am pretty anti but think the price drop might be overdone and offers value for a quick profit. Farragia, nice to hear from you. Tour des Champs would be my clear tip. Nicely weighted, likes Chepstow and the going and has a trainer that dies well at the course. And then of course, the two Dom Alco horses in the King George. Ours gets back into training in Jan and will be aimed at Autueil meeting later in the season.

Happy Christmas all. My tip for next year is UTW. Growing well, solid business, growing market, hard working and honest CEO and pays a nice dividend.

Bought 50 k yesterday for a short term punt. Barring a nightmare set of results (which is not impossible and in which case it's all over), I think 16 p is possibly good value.

But I took a load of stick on here from quite a few regulars when posting reasionable arguments over the last year or so which were negative in many things Blinkx. Perhaps the story has an eventual upside and I wish all holders the best. My point is that punters should always open their ears to the potential pitfalls regardless of if they want to hear about them. Orslega Adante etc , go and sit in the dunces corner .

A good idea. Unfortunately (In fact very fortunately), I have only 30k left and the wife has 50k so no clout to speak of. However , I do have an interest in seeing this lot bought to task. One could be forgiven for wondering if the entire company has been a well orchestrated back scratching scam of sorts. How all these supposedly successful companies they have purchased diligently appear to be loss making is completely beyond me .

I could not agree more. It's a crying shame but no suprise that they have not clarified the rumour either way. As usual , the management at Blinkx are playing at being Ostriches and even when they do speak , I have difficulty in believing a word they say.

Obviously they are still struggling to make a penny.

You are quite lucky to still be up there . Most of us have vanished down the pan a long time ago.

All these fast growing companies that they chose very carefully from hundreds before buying them , and they are still unable to make any money.
