Sold 150k this morning as I just cant see this company going anywhere apart from round and round in circles. The constant excuses and lies from Blinkx management suggests to me that they just can not be trusted. I had hoped they would turn things around after the big hit they took, but it appears that either no one trusts them any more or that they just don't have what customers want. A crying shame it has all come to this. In the meantime BM consistently hangs on to his tenure by dangling non existent carrots. Nice to see you are still alive Gdog. Good riddance to this shower !!!

For all the gibberish BM keeps spouting about market size, transformation, opportunity etc., I fail to see where Blinkx is going to go from here. The Presidential elections should have helped in this quarter but seem not to. Our inflection point was nothing other than fanciful and ahead of management expectations came to nothing. The only people making any money out of this mess are BM and chums. I thought they could turn things around , but now I think its very unlikely,

Yes, I am surprised they have not announced one too, and given us some earnings accretive rubbish. It is bizarre how they have so far managed to buy these separate entities and earns nothing from them.

What a limp trading update. Everyone else in the industry seems to be growing fast while all Blinkkx seem to do is talk about it. Not sure where they go from here as they seem to be treading water.

I think you make a fair point there. I also wonder what competitive advantage they still have. However, I have taken a gamble that they have managed to tighten the ship and taken a hit over the last year or two in order to clear the muck. Once it has been cleared then hopefully they will be able to grow again. It is a big if however. What seemed to be a video search company all those years ago has now morphed into something completely different . Tosca and the recent staff signings are a plus, the lack of any news or decent figures so far is a minus. The growing market place they keep talking about needs to push some in the direction of Blinkx soonish or I can not see a future. As I have become bored with this one, I have gone all in (Including a very large T20 for 50 per cent of my holding) Unlike the old days, it seems the pre results trading is as dead as a doughnut.

What an infantile comment from one old enough to know better !! On the subject of mentally challenged, you claim to hold over a million shares in Blinkx, however you did not sell them when they were worth a decent amount. My mistake was having bad eyesight and not being able to see the text on my phone very well. Yours on the other hand was just plain stupid and greedy.

Re Glasdoor reviews. Dismiss them at your peril. With hindsight they told us all we needed to know about SC. I find some of the answers from management to be highly patronising.

Wish it was this way when my Blinkx shares were worth a fortune, but should help if we ever get lucky again. The headline rate of capital gains tax is cut from 28% to 20% while for basic rate taxpayers it will fall from 18% to 10%.

I have recently bought back in. The presentation of the company is head and shoulders better than the tat SC was responsible for and I like the fact that the stats show growth of sorts. I always thought that maybe once all the muck had been cleared and the sales deficit cleared, then there was a chance the corner could be turned. As a gamble I think the price is very favourable.
