Silverfoil, are you suggesting that Will Quince is lying in his response to an official question? My question to Sareum is just that, did they receive a rejection letter from MHRA.

The fact that we are underway in Australia is great news, but I for one would like to know why we should have to go literally half way around the world, open and register a new business in Australia, when we have the MHRA in the UK. GLA.

Desamax, thank you for your update. I also contacted my local MP, Andrew Mitchell, and asked him to get clarity on the MHRA issue.

I received a response from Secretary of State Will Quince, via Mr Mitchell. The letter makes it clear that the Sareum Clinical Trial Application (CTA) was rejected by MHRA. I have written to Sareum twice now, asking for clarity because I believe that the rejection was never made clear, I await their response. The letter from Will Quince also mentions that before rejecting a CTA application, the MHRA issues ‘grounds for non-acceptance’ (GNA), requesting the applicant provide further information to support the trial’s authorisation. In the GNA letter, the MHRA provides contact details should the sponsor wish to seek further clarification on any GNA point raised.

Anyone who wishes to see a copy of this reply are welcome to see it.

I think this situation can only lead to more borrowing from the Chinese. There were concerns raised last year about the Chinese Belt and Road initiative. The Chinese will hand over the cash but expect massive infrastructure projects in return. The important question here, is why have the GCM Chinese partners hung around for so long? The country, it seems, has nowhere else to go with such massive debt. GLA

When you read about the offers of T/O’s, the premium seems to be around 125%-150% of SP, we really need to get news to push us into the multiple £ range before any acceptable offer is considered. We need to be at £4/5 before talks gets interesting. Let’s get the good news rolling and hope that there is enough of it to prevent the customary slide back. GLA.

I am with you Redeye, it is almost a cut and paste from last April’s share giveaway, although this year they have given away about an extra 2 million shares. The only small consolation, and I admit it is small, is these people seem happy to take shares, we can only hope that they are closer to things and feel that one day it will be a goer. GLA.
