Having re-read the last RNS, it becomes clear to me that Sareum entered this arrangement with great caution. I accept what has been said about this type of placing being the placing of last resort, but interestingly, Sareum have only drawn 40% in the first trance, not the whole 5 million, and they have clearly stated that the remainder may not be used or needed (‘if drawn’).

For me, this is a test for RockFort as well as Sareum, if the SP is devoured, after this first trance, then Sareum will never use the rest of the money and the deal will be ended.

Sareum seemed to be confident with how things are going with the trials, and I believe that a positive update will reverse, and exceed, any loss in SP.

When you look at this with a clear mind, which is difficult for us LTH’s, it is better to get burnt, if that is what will happen, with £2 million than the full 5.

We all know that no news kills this SP and it always has. Buckle up for tomorrow and maybe the next day and then hopefully we get the positive update we all deserve. GLA

Maybe a deal can done between Bangla and the Chinese to help with the cash flow for 2/3 years if the green light is given, or a coal supply deal. There is no doubt that Bangladesh is in real financial trouble and an economic death spiral without power. Sometimes it takes desperation for you to do what you don’t want to do. GLA

Maj, are suggesting that RiverFort have shorted this stock, or forward sold their 2million shares? I know a bit about shorting, but I never been able to forward sell. The only way RiverFort could make any quick cash, IMHO, is the above 2 options. When the extra shares hit next week, you would expect a dilution of 3% to have an affect but that is it. Genuine question from a LTH, could you explain why you expect a big hit next week. Cheers.

Bangladesh is still a barbaric nation. They still have the death penalty which include firing squad and hanging. In 2016 Hasina approved the hanging of a bloke for his alleged crimes, in the independence war back in 1971, 45 years after the event. Many opposition party members just disappear and other are hanged in so called judicial killings.

I am not expecting any decent news for the next 2/3 months. We have Phulbari day looming, August 26th, and this will bring marches and protests to commemorate the killing of 3 innocent protesters by the Police in 2006. Even the clunge knows that would stir up even more tensions. If anything is going to be announced, it will be weeks after this date IMHO. I would expect news, if any is coming, around October onwards. GLA.
