Not saying its right. Just providing an alternative view
Re: my comment this morning about jigsaw pieces… Just think what has happened in circa last 12 months and how much de-risking this has meant for UFO:
1) We have bought EH mine
2) Have agreed a JV on D2 which by all accounts Capstone view as looking very promising
3) We have the had a couple of placings for cash in the bank and that should fund our drilling of Hammersley and other ops til year end (albeit the latest placing was a bit contentious)
4) We have increased our holdings of Hammersley from 51-90%
5) Our initial drill results from Hammersley are about as good as we could have hoped and indications are the resources are bigger than expected
6) We have an option on what looks likely to be an economic tailings recovery at EH that will generate some revenue
And in addition to this we still have permits being sought for our other Mexico projects and a licence in Greenland (and if anyone saw BBC2’s Documentary about the arctic with Bruce Parry last night, it’s only a matter of time before the winds change and we can progress that licence too)
I’m sure there are other items that I have missed in this quick summary, but basically you have to say things have progressed nicely under Bill’s stewardship (and all this has happened against a backdrop of the pandemic and natural disasters in some of our locations)
My only ‘reservation’ is that I think we could be better at ‘selling ourselves’, and as others have previously said this isn’t Bill’s strong point. Fine geologist, not such a great salesman. TP don’t seem to be adding much value either…

Hi parkboy,
I agree it's really frustrating. I think you have to hold tight and it will hopefully come good. Taking a dispassionate view you have to say the pieces of the jigsaw are coming together. At some point it will make a breakthrough, but maybe it needs a jv or similar to help it break out. I have another share in a similar position. Just have to watch and wait.... but it ain't easy I admit
I read 944's calcs with interest earlier. An alternative view that may be helpful as a rough guide is to compare Fenix's MCap approx £76M for their 8MT of DSO (or £9.5M per MT). Assuming a similar valuation for us then:
240MT x 90% (UFO share) x £9.5M = £2052M
Assuming 4B shares in issue = 51p per share
240MT = 51p
120MT = 25.5p
60MT = 12.75p
30MT = 6.4p
Obvs can't compare exactly the 2 companies and I'm not saying there's anything amiss with 944's calcs. Just thought an alternative view may be of interest?
Happy to be corrected if this is barmy or my maths are wrong!

With any BB you have to sift the facts from the opinions and the outright BS. Facts are great, opinions are fine and can be insightful provided they aren't stated as facts. BS you can smell a mile off.
By and large this BB is very good imho. There are some great facts and some posters have shared some fantastic research and I did my hat to them. We all know who they are.
As for asking how much does 'Joe bloggs own' it's pointless. They could give you any figure and you'll never be any the wiser....
Hear's hoping for a better Q2/H2. In my opinion we will start to see some progress that is hopefully reflected in the sp. I've adjusted my expectations down and hope for circa 5p by year end, but it's really a guessing game at the moment until we get some results

Hi All,
I'm looking for an 'in' to crypto. Haven't got anything in my PF in this space, and I was alerted to VLRM by another poster elsewhere. I'm finding it hard to find much info on it to do some research - any advice? Would be most welcome... (I've found the website, but other than that and this board I can't find much else)
Also - anyone have a view as to where this could go? I gather accessing the US markets will be a key event?
(Sorry if these are stupid comments, I am new to crypto investing and need to do some rapid learning. Any insight is much appreciated)
Thanks - H
Great analogy Eeyore.
What do people expect? Proving resources and securing JVs take time and effort under normal circumstances let alone when your key jurisdictions are in lockdown/ravaged by pandemic (mexico) or on fire/flooding (Oz). This is a long term hold and no point in moaning until we see what things look like in 6/9/12 months time.
Build it and they will come (or something like that?)

Thanks Turbo - really interesting read to keep us 'juiced up' whilst in space port! :)
Makes the mind boggle as to the potential here. Bring on those results Bill.... I'd like to retire whilst I can enjoy it!
BTW - Thanks to Shouston for the COPL tip a few days ago. I managed to get in last minute yesterday and hoping to use it to power another splurge back here at some point. Much appreciated.
It's moving like the proverbial glacier here, so I've sold some of my holding with the aim of trying to make some money elsewhere and come back at a later date (I still have most of my holding left here, but felt the need to try to make some work harder elsewhere).
FWIW - I think BZT could well be very profitable long term given the right stewardship, but I do think Colin is currently focused on his other interests, and we are a bit of an afterthought. I'm hoping this will change which is why I'm keeping an interest in the meantime.
Hopefully I can earn some more dosh elsewhere and then buy back in with a bigger holding in 6 months time.
In the meantime GLA

Blimey - spent ages getting a quote for these this morning. Just picked up 4K worth and hoped I've timed it right.
Recommended on another board a while ago and I've been keeping an eye - long term next 12 months or so - I think this could be a tidy earner.
GLA - great info on board (thanks!) H
