8ead - I'm having the exact same thoughts. Been mulling it over for a few weeks now and keep coming back to the thought I should hang in here for the long haul. It may not be dynamic but I do think it's undervalued and in the longterm, being in this early could pay off big time.
But I do still have those nagging doubts that say - move it somewhere a bit more lively. I guess it's a bit like being sat at home in lockdown while the neighbours are having a rave next door, and you kinda want to join them but know the police will arrive if you did!!! (Totally fabricated but topical analogy there - my neighbours are all in retirement and there's defo no raving on my street - and certainly no urge to join them!)
There's a lot of sense included in the last few posts.
FWIW - My belief is that Hammersley is most likely the first cab off the rank, and anything beyond that this year I view as a bonus. I'm hoping that we will be somewhere between 2-5p by mid summer, and 5-10p by year end. It's hard to predict with any real conviction as a lot can happen very quickly.
I must admit I would like an update from BBG on the Hammersley licence situation. I completely understand you can't hold negotiations in public, but it would be good to hear something along the lines of discussions have been underway for a few weeks or similar. The complete radio silence is frustrating...
This is a long term hold for me. I've got a sizeable holding and am hoping it could lead to early retirement in 2/3 years time.

Hi all,
We've been waiting for approval from Mexico for about 3 months now, is this par for the course? I know we've had the Christmas break and Mexico has covid issues etc.. but this seems interminably slow progress. Do we think this will resolve shortly or can we expect to be kicking our heels for another 3 months? Just wondered if anyone has any previous experience they can call upon?
Thanks H
Yup. All being well, by June we'll be a few pence further up the ladder and lighting our BBQs with tenners! :)
Seriously though, I think in 6 months time, with a bit of luck and some hard work on BBG's part (and the rest of the team), we could be in a different place. By which I mean holding a new base a few pence higher, de-risked further and maybe with some suitors queuing up for a jv........ and probably all moaning that it's not 50p yet!
Come on Aliens, you've got to smile and enjoy the ride!
Until we get some solid drill results and tangibly move the projects along the value curve we are gonna be at the mercy of the markets at the moment. We will get there - there's so much to look forward to this coming quarter let alone the year ahead.
Making predictions is futile at the moment, but whilst we wait just strap yourself in and enjoy - it's gonna be wild!
Shame we have dropped back a little. I'm hoping we have a mid/late afternoon upswing, but at the very least I'd like us to hold our current sp.
Notwithstanding the silver squeeze, I felt a fair value at this point for UFO was somewhere between 1.5-2.0p. Would be hold a sp in this range before the newsflow starts
Hi All,
The following is not advice, and please DYOR etc.. etc.. but the list below is potential news items that could land in the coming weeks and months - I posted this previously before the current silver squeeze..... It might be of interest/help to anyone new?
Near term updates
- News of Assay results from drilling programme at Hammersley – Circa end Feb
Unknown but expected short term (Q1) news updates
- Outcome of aerial survey at EH - TBC
- Start of trenching at EH - TBC
- POW licence agreements from Mexico - TBC
- Updates on drilling at D2 from Capstone - TBC
Longer term dates (Q2 onwards)
- Prelim results from Mexico Drilling
Could drop at any time/ad-hoc news
- Any updates on the Hammersley licence (i.e. have we managed to secure 100% holding)
- Any JV announcements from Mexico that may pop up unexpectedly
- Any announcements from Greenland that may pop up unexpectedly
- New projects
It's painful at the moment, and as I said before I look at the sp these days through my fingers. Never thought we'd see 1p again let alone fall below it. I have to doff my hat to Karim to be fair, cos at the time he speculated 0.7p I questioned how he thought we'd be anywhere near that - now it's seems possible (hope not?!).
That said, look at the wider mining sector (almost everyone has taken a hit), Coronavirus is on the march across the globe, and markets are all generally volatile at the minute. I still take comfort in the fundamentals here - we have half a dozen projects that could be real winners, if only 1 comes good then the sp will do well enough. There's not too many other opportunities out there with our potential and I'm planning to sit tight til at least end Q1 to see what the landscape looks like. We're in an asteroid belt Aliens, buckle up for a bit more turbulence, but hopefully we'll find planet Wonga in the not too distant future :)?
