ReesP - You need to keep your eye on the iron!
Look seriously though, the DSO assay results are due by month end ie within the next 9 days. Stop the chuntering and wait and see what happens when we get news on that. Bill may well have an update on the sharetalk podcast later.... I reckon there's upward movement yet to come in the relatively near term. He's played a good game thus far...
Look, the price is being affected by the background shenanigans, and there is also another tranche of warrants being exercised today (there were 2 RNS's you know?). Surely this tells you that there is a lot of interest in UFO and people wanting to get in here. I see a bit of carping from some areas about the JV, but lets just bear in mind the following:
1) It was our first jv and so we weren't exactly in the strongest negotiating position with Capstone as they knew we needed the funding
2) It's an income stream that de-risks the share going forward
3) We are now far better placed to negotiate future jv's on our more prized assets e.g. the next jv is probably going to be on the DSO, so we want to get max value from that beauty
ALSO - this share has taken off over the past couple of weeks. We need a bit of consolidation to push on again.
It's all good here. I for one am sitting on my shares, no MM is going to prize them out of my sticky fingers!!!!
We need a little perspective here. The price has dropped circa 20-25% over the past 2 days following a price rise of nearly 500% in just over a week. A retrace was always going to happen for one reason or another. If you asked most people a few months ago what they hoped the sp would be by year end the common answer was circa 2/2.5p so we are well ahead of schedule and are still awaiting JV news, assay results etc... Even if we were to get a further drop following the RNS (for whatever reason, be it MM jiggery-pokery or a worse than expected outcome (which could just be worse terms that we hoped)) then ultimately I think the fundamentals are great for mid/long term gains. As Corporal Jones would say.... Don't panic! :)
Rees,
I topped in on a spike at 0.9. Quite a big top up. It then fell back and bimbled around for a few weeks and got as low as the 0.6's. Then bam 6 days of huge gains that took us to just shy of 3p a share. It'll come good - we have some big updates due soon
StPeter,
As others have said, nobody can advise you on what the sp will be or what to do. But my opinion (for what it's worth) is that you can only look at the potential resources and make some assumptions on to what extent they will be realised. To that end given its estimated that we could have circa 270Mt of iron ore (and some have suggested it could be more) and given that we own 51% but are looking to purchase the remainder of the licence, and that from memory it equates to several $B in value (in the ground), that alone should give you some confidence that this ship has some serious wind in its sails. If you then add in the D2 JV and the huge silver opportunities in Mexico and Oz and the fact that we are gearing up for a metal bull run then to my mind a £B m/c is more than possible. Nothing in life is certain, but this is a great place to be. Ultimately though, only you can decide to what extent you value the company
Can anyone recommend a good book or other resources for a beginner to get to grips with charting/TA? In recent months I've begun to appreciate the insight this provides and would like to at least get a grip of the basics.
Any advice/ guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks H
