Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Interesting today in that buys out did sells but quite a margin yet all day they show it as down then after close of market show it up 4%. Could they be trying to gather as many cheap shares as possible in anticipation of the good news we are all waiting for regarding some ink on paper and the start of great things to come?
Unlike some of the multi national gold companies that have billions in capital and could walk away from a 10 million pound project like it did not exist, along side Ashers honesty for which he has always been praise for, the thing that gives me most reassurance is the fact he has £1.25 million pounds of his own money at stake here. If funding news is a few weeks late, no one should panic as we all know the upside here is amazing should everything fall into place. The worlds demand for all is not going to go away anytime in the next 30 years and with Russia continuing to play games, the need for alternative supplies of both oil and gas has never been greater.
Thanks for the link JustDave. Nice to see Tower mentioned among the multi national brands and a very strong taste of things to come for all those in the know. All hail Tower and great future prospects for us all. Good luck everyone.
Thanks for posting up MM. Seems a good sign that they are willing to take shares in lieu of payment as they must have a better idea than most of what they are involved in along with its potential for success. Lets hope with a bit more patience we will all be very well rewarded. GLA.
With the billions that gets wasted on an almost daily basis by our incompetent government along with the need to solve our huge energy crisis in the UK, would be nice if someone in UK government had the sense to throw £50 million to Tower in exchange for an agreed amount of cheap gas as part of the contract. Thus moving us away from the farce that is the European gas price squeeze when we get less than 3% of our gas from Russia. We can only dream that someone in our government has the brain to see the opportunity here!
Hi Moneymunch, looking at the location I am guessing the water is a lot shallower here than further out from the coast? As ever thanks for your very informative posts. GLA
Unlike some other companies out there where the CEO's get paid huge salaries and put commit virtually nothing from a personal point of view, what I like here is the fact JA has over a million pounds worth of shares to his name. I am not privy to his personal financial situation at all but I imagine he would not want to see this disappear so has his own personal interests as well as those of us shareholders to heart. Nothing is guaranteed like everything in life but as MM keeps saying, a bit of patience here will hopefully see us all rewarded very nicely. Best of luck to everyone.
In comparison to many other oil / mining exploration companies what I like about this one is the fact Jeremy A. has nearly a million pounds worth of personal shares here alongside the fact other directors have recently been paid in warrants, thus reinforcing their faith in the future.
Like everything there is no guarantee of course but at least they all stand to lose if this does not work out long term.
Good luck everyone and with a bit of patience, I feel we will all be well rewarded.
More important than disagreeing over % increases, the more positive aspect here is that the false narrative that we would not get the extension and a major would take our area off us for free as a result can now well and truly be put to bed. Once Shell et al finally announce exactly how much they have this should start to move up and really attract interest for a farm in. GLA.
Given the energy crisis crippling the UK due to our clear lack of oil resources after they were all sold off cheap, perhaps the UK energy minister could have a word with Rushi and get him to invest half a billion into GBP. As much as we all dream of an "oil free" world, it is not going to happen for a number of decades, so the energy crisis is here to stay.
After all, this half billion investment would be chump change compared to the 8 billion plus that got flittered away during covid and would make a major productive contribution towards cheaper UK energy prices. GBP would then be in a position to do all the drilling work itself and own all the oil coming out of the ground, thus a win, win for the company and the UK government.
The condition would be though that none of this energy being sold back into the global wholesale market, but rather used to secure UK energy for the next 50 years at a reasonable price for consumers.
UK government using our tax money to benefit us all, now that would be very nice!
As you say Jdough, every little helps. Given our current insanely low market capital with due consideration to our potential, be very nice if that same Egyptian billionaire started sniffing around us. Wonder how many would bite his hand off for a 1 billion complete buy out? Good luck to all holders regardless of how long you itend to stay.
Done through sharecentre Voted with 1,002,122 shares. Best of luck everyone.
Can remember many a time in the early days of the GGP journey when there was a large drop in share price over something that really was not of any concern. One incident even saw GH make a large purchase around 3p to reassure the market that everything was fine. Took the opportunity to load up on another 300K of shares at this low price and feel confident it will come good over the next few months. Good luck everyone and all the best for 2021.
Hi ST, apologies if a silly question but application of maths was never my strong point. Would two zeros to the market capital result in a 1. 6 billion valuation? Truly scary if this is the case. Thank you very much.
Well Brad lost my trust and I am out. Sincerely wish all long term holders the best of luck but this is real money and having previously been on a free carrry, I sold out of GGP and threw all in here. At one point was "on paper" nearly 300K in profit when we hit the highs of over 40p. Kept the faith all through the drop but this morning was the final straw for me. Having lost nearly 50K chasing rainbows 3 years ago, I feel very proud to have walked away from the table with nearly 200K of pure profit. As a very wise person once said, it is only yours when you hit that sell and the money is in your bank account. Unitl that point anything could happen. Would have loved to think this company could have made me a millionaire but at the same time, nearly 200K back to me is truly life changing especially with the domestic crisis my family went through at the latter part of last year where family members were lost. Good luck again everyone and I truly wish you all the best.
MrPostive. Seems reassuring that there have been no major sell offs though by anyone with large holdings unless then have been drip feed selling them over a couple of weeks. With such a small free float in circulation though, you cannot help feeling the MM's know something is up and are gathering as many as they can ready to sell at a much higher price.
Wonder if that creative "mid price" is at work again making lots of buys look like sells to try to spook the weak into selling ?
Not always, I got another 50,000 shares yesterday via NT with the Share Centre and it actually went through at .002p per share lower than my earlier 50,000 share top up about 2 hours before that. First time I have done it and I was bricking it a bit so had a pleasant surprise at the outcome.
15k from Dead Duck Premium Bonds cashed as they are dropping the prize fund again just hit my bank account this morning so did a little top up of another 50,000 shares at just under 29p. Will look to replace the 15K in PB's once this new purchase doubles and will then be on a free ride once again. Good luck everyone.
Hi MiddleEastMoney. Apologies if silly questions but are your figures based on the 100% value of OMI rather than the 25% we will eventually own? Even 25% of those values are mind blowing in terms of share value but just trying to get clarity on our share of any future full values if that makes sense? Many thanks HP
