RE: 7.8M BUYS 4.8M SOLD16 Aug 2018 09:04
I see the posters of maybe debt maybe dilution, maybe issues with sales brigade are out again....
The quote of the mine is going to get built regardless is a statement we have to make. We are going into binding contracts to procure things, supply chains, a few people will be uprooting families and moving to take up jobs because of this project. You cannot state when asked if not debt what then, oh well yeah in that case we all walk off site that’s it down tools game over...
Of course he states it will get built regardiess, it would be madness to state anything other than that.
He also repeats constantly the intention is debt, the whole financing structure set up in two parts is to facilitate such a debt.
ST1 having been now invested into something far more tangeable than a field with some sample bore holes, to what we can see today with the activity on site, port progress, contracted sales progress etc.
Personally I don’t see equity being released as part of ST2.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, banks are desperate to loan money to good projects, but with the World changing rapidly (decimation of high street) global online superpowers selling everything. It’s difficult for them to find the correct projects.
Trying to suggest we are desperate for sales agreements and can’t get them because of a) Brexit b) Trump tariffs c) insert panic of choice here... it’s just scaremongering. The World needs our product.
When we get / go over the contracted requirements it will just be the actual ST2 sign off to go before we embark on our journey towards the FTSE100 and “however it happens” the mine is built.
My two cents for what it’s worth is there will be more shares in issue (the bonds) and that is it. With luck we will clean up the 15% also!
There are a few here and only a few that seem to stick to their guns. There are a few that seem to flip flop whenever it suits them.
Would be very interesting to keep a list of names to one side and watch as soon as ST2 is done and we are on our way, when the SP hits some new high, those same names will then be trying to state some construction challenge that is isn’t really a problem, is a problem....
A bit like a TorP that isn’t a TorP that ok maybe it is a TorP, to yeah actually it’s a TorP. Remember that little debate a while back?!
Tick tock etc...
