The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I agree, it is healthy to switch off, which I do and as mentioned previously, I am fine. I posted what I did because the language had deteriorated and there can be consequences to that, which is what I was raising. We need to be cognizant of our language. Something I can learn from. Again, it should not be for a person to be forced to leave. It is entirely unnecessary and frankly if someone is getting glee from it (not aimed at you), then...
No Brooko - that absolves the responsibility of the poster. If the share price is falling , there are ways of expressing why a poster thinks that's happening without mocking those invested. You know this. justified criticism based on evidence and even some guessing is fine but mocking people's investments is not. I personally am okay by the way but am drawing a line in what I accept as how people behave, when the consequences can be severe. It is not for a person to be forced away but for a poster to take responsibility for their words.
Interesting post and as you say - filling in the time with research is certainly appreciated. Had alook myself based on what you said and can only assume Chris Blackwell had some influence. As it says in this article on the potential for inhaled therapy: 'At heart, Dr Chris Blackwell is a scientist more than a businessman.'

The Nuformix Board vs The Egos
Dan Gooding: Himself said, that Nuformix are in advanced talks (not two years ago) with their preferred partner. Dan Gooding, the person who runs the business, who started the business, who understands the tech has previously led 'successful licensing deals within the pharmaceutical industry with companies such as Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca'.
The Egos
Farted out a couple of comments on a Bulletin Board
Karl Keegan
Karl spent 12 years as a highly regarded sell-side life sciences research analyst, researching and helping finance companies across the UK, Europe, USA and Canada.
The Egos
Er...talked about themselves using 'I', 'I've', 'me' a lot.
Dr Joanne Holland, Chief Scientific Officer
Co-founder - Joanne worked for Medeor Pharma Ltd and Medeor Ltd undertaking commercial and scientific research on new business and investment opportunities.
The Egos
Er...disrupted a bulletin board and bragged about making some money on another share once.
Dr Christopher Blackwell
Formerly CEO of Vectura Group Plc. Chris initially joined GSK as a Clinical Pharmacologist post PhD studies at Bath, moving to Hoffman La-Roche as UK Director, Global ProjectManagement. At Scotia Pharma Ltd Chris served as Director of Drug Development and Executive Director. Chris is a non-executive Director of AGI Therapeutics plc.
The Egos
Woke up the next day and tried to disrupt a bulletin board.
Nuformix has proven the tech. They are in advanced talks with a preferred partner on a much desired product that performs better than all existing products. This we know. We also know that the company is not a dud or going out of business.
Don't bother trying to win arguments over the egos, who frankly act a little bit weird in their desire for attention. Either ignore them or report them for being disruptive.
‘Our technology is proven, we’ve been able to reduce that to practice in clinic, which validates the rest of the growing portfolio.’
The reason why the the likes of you know who attack Dan - is because they cannot attack the tech. They cannot attack the fact that their products are wanted because they outperform all other existing drugs in the area of IPF. Drugs that are blockbuster drugs in high need countries.
'We’re about to enter a really exciting phase, which is going to be transformational for the company, completing transactions and moving assets forward.'
They belittle the conversation and turn it onto them. Read their posts and just look at the amount of times they use 'I' or 'I'm', anyone would think this board was about him. Their egos are out of control. Bless. When the reality is, Nuformix have great assets and are in the process of moving these forward.
‘We are very comfortable right now with the small raise we did before Christmas, and ongoing income we have with Ebers activities allows us to progress both NXP002 and NXP004 programmes without delay or reliance on third parties’
Fantastic. Low outgoings and no reliance on third parties. The hysterical posters (you know who they are) know absolutely nothing, but they sure spout like they do. Pathetic at best.
‘To be able to bring him (Karl Keegan) onto the team at this time is absolutely perfect for us. He’s got an excellent track record in delivering value across a range of capital markets life science companies and we’re really looking forward to rolling our sleeves up with him as we go forward over the next couple of months’.
Yes, so as they (you know who they are), waffle about themselves and how hurt they are by insults, whilst degrading the conversation, the company is getting their sleeves rolled up and turning Nurformix into the next phase.
As far as I am concerned, I am more than happy to be invested in this company and wish it to do well for both my money and for patients that will benefit form the great tech.
Atrades - I will put my hands up in a couple of years - which is what I intend to hold for. It appears to be yourself that is getting worked up.
Good one.
Not sold but as you consider this share dead, I presume you will you now be selling?
More games on the horizon. New partnership with Gfinity and Veantus. Large volumes of demand. New customer, who may have taken months to try BIDS are in now. Retaining those customers as part of their ad spend, when the real world opens again will be key. Gaming and esports was growing anyway. Areas where they were not 'present', exciting and unexpected commercial opportunities. Excellent!
CPIS's March 2017 Accounts show they had:
20.9% of shares in Nuformix.
13.61% in 2018 & 2019.
9.8% - as of Jan 2020
In my view, it would be good to see another TR1 of a further reduction by CPI and certainly not anything sinister.

CPI are a non-profit organisation. They receive money from government in part - which is part of a network for British innovation companies in various sectors. They are not a normal fund or investment vehicle that are seeking maximum value.
They provide technical expertise coupled with development and scale-up facilities.
They would already have made their money because they were involved so early. They need to re-invest their money in other companies who are also at start-up stage. That is their remit.
Nuformix is up and running now.

It is difficult to wait for something that can be transformational to our income. I get it. I just think the speculation and emotive words are somewhat wild. The boards are perhaps for this sort of thing too. We just have to wait though. Be that for the RNS or for an update if there were major problems. I would say get away form the screens and go and have a walk but in the circumstances...anyway, all the best.
There seems to be a particular panic today, only surpassed by the levels of wild speculation. The deal is complicated. The data is extremely complicated. We are in the midst of a global crisis that shut down the World. The deal comes, when it comes and there is so much more to come than just this. The products are hyped now are they? The share is a dog is it? GLA
In the podcast, he specifically said: "It is not effecting us at the moment, we're able to progress things at the moment..." Of course at that stage, the virus was a lot less advanced than they are now. I would be surprised if things weren't impacted. We can't possibly know, so not really worth getting worked up about, unless you are a trader in this stock and you are trying to guess when to enter. As for Brooko - well, what a ray of sunshine.
Well, that's good to see.
Nuformix are in this report. The report cost is massive. Anyways... https://www.researchbymarkets.com/report/cough-pipeline-review-h1-2020-585732.html
This is the analysis on which policy in UK and U.S is being based presently - https://www.imperial.ac.uk/media/imperial-college/medicine/sph/ide/gida-fellowships/Imperial-College-COVID19-NPI-modelling-16-03-2020.pdf
It also lacks detail. I would have hoped for it to have given some figures with it. Good that is is signed but...
