AMC are selling an asset, the sp should rerate towards the value of the money in the bank for that sale, it's up to you to wait or sell. For example our market cap is £20mill so £100mill in the bank would increase our sp.
A full sale is usually an offer of x pence per share with a timeframe, the sp will rerate towards the offer price, you can sell, or wait till the sale is concluded to get the x pence per share. Sometimes a bidding war can occur which makes waiting worthwhile.
Something like that, obviously lots of variables, e.g our crappy offer here which decimated for our sp.
