RE: Setting the record straight on some things30 Apr 2021 18:09
There is another option (hypothetically as I don't know what reason if any may or may not have happened)... he bought and had no intention of selling at the time but something came up later. Or bought to help others out along with himself hoping that the price would stabilise for everyone and go back up, not just him... As I said yesterday, there are many reasons you can think up as to why he would buy but some will definitely go down the tin foil route and only he knows what has gone on if anything. At the end of the day it could simply be he bought because he actually believed what he wrote when he purchased them and was doing what was best for shareholders (himself included).
However, if he were selling over the past few weeks then he probably got less than or very close to that purchase price - no one knows what he might have got though - so was it really a pump and dump?!
I would be interested if he wrote a statement saying yes I've sold or no I haven't etc. if he wants to give one. But it isn't like he knows something NCM and GGP don't about the future so is bailing out so at the end of the day if he wants to sell some then he can. He can't be the only shareholder not allowed to ever sell.
