This happens on loads of companies that drop. Centamin did the same thing when I was in it last year, and other companies. It is normally a show of confidence. it is hardly a time consuming thing to buy shares nor is it some thing that makes them dodgy - it is common practice. Anyway, had they not have bought you'd all be even worse off as the price wouldn't have recovered as much as it did.

That's nice... I'm sure there are many places you could phone and someone answering the phone not know about every single bit of what is going on in a company at that exact moment.

My thinking is nervous people profit taking in case lockdowns move in and they're hoping they'll get a better price. Lots of stocks down across the board today.

The only thing it is good for is if you want a steady income from dividends and don't care about the capital growth. Apart from that it is a pointless index.

I said this a couple of years ago to a friend who is an experienced trader of 40+ years... the ftse looks a con and is the worst of the indexes going. It is ridiculous - look at it after 2000 it doesn't ever do anything but go up then down up then down and over-reacts the worst to any little thing happening anywhere in the world. I don't invest in it because someone sneezes on a remote island it will lose points.

Well he's had every opportunity since taking over to buy at a higher price... not sure what makes you think he is happy to pay a higher price when he has 100% not done so.

You can go on any of their social media platforms and see people asking every day or moaning that they haven't been running a service. I've been asking since Feb... they just keep going "check back soon" blah blah. Some services they do run are now longer as they don't go the original routes so also puts some people off. These aren't small out of the way places either, they are major town and cities in some cases.

If I had a pound for everytime I heard someone on any board this year saying "just waiting for EUA" then I'd be a millionaire and wouldn't have to worry about shares.

Yes this is starting to sound like every AIM company I've got shares in raising funds for no real reason at massive discounts.

Demand is low because they aren't running services. People - myself included - want to use NEX but they just aren't running coaches from places like they used to.
