Not sure but I know it can't get from europe to here unless we let it so seems we've learned nothing from last year about borders. If people perceive that the world is going to have a set back in ever opening then gold and certain commodities could rise, equally people could believe demand for certain commodities might shrink as business activity potentially decreases so they could go down. If I had to bet though I'd say gold would hang around these levels.

Yes which is why I suggested that AFC are tweeting constantly with the Extreme E hashtag shouting from the rooftops their involvement and getting the name out.... yes I know it isn't a business selling to the people watching Extreme E but free advertising is free advertising.

I think he will say take a break in britain this year as europe's problems could lead to us coming de-railed and it is too risky and we'll be flying blind etc etc before vaccine boosters come in. Anyway, if all the younger people only get their first shot by august, then the 2nd 12 weeks later, a lot of the people who would be going away, young families and young people aren't going to be allowed off anywhere anyway.

Don't trust but or sells. No one knows for sure and the computer just guesses on whether the price is nearer to sell or buy price. But you'll notice people sometimes say their buys come up as sells or vice versa and often you get a sell price which could well be deemed a buy price. Take it with pinch of salt. Logic says you need a buy for a sell and sell for a buy.

You are doing what is best for you. To be honest in one account I am thinking the same as it is nearing my average price and you can't rule anything out in the short term. However, I am willing to wait until the 2nd week of april and see if new tax year buys in drive it up. If not I will consider doing the same in the one account and let the other sit for several years and watch for an upturn. However, I'm encouraged by this afternoon's action in that it isn't plummeting but 19p seems a bit of a struggle to break through so could easily turn.

Well if the trial data is correct that it will stop 100% of deaths and hospitalisations/severe Covid then yes things have to get back to normal fast even if us youngsters aren't vaccinated. But since every one is using the same "no one is protected until we're all protected" and bill gates saying end of 2022 I fear the whole world has to be vaccinated before governments release us into any kind of normalcy (or when the WHO downgrades or ends the pandemic status).

Yes the whole world should have seen the need and ramped up vaccine production facilities - as we should be now if we believe we are going to need 60 - 120m doses every year for the foreseeable future... Don't rely on 'friends' who are thinly veiled enemies. How much would it have cost vs how much it is costing each day now! Did anyone really think vaccines would get distributed fairly to the whole world from a few locations (even without any contract quarrels?!).

I've not seen the interview so I can't judge on his demeanour but something didn't feel right on the info I could judge from so guess that's on me rather than saying I've made several hundred percent in a few months I'm happy with that. Long term yes this will be fine. if not, as I have said - and please others don't take this the wrong way as some have large sums which are life changing etc. - it isn't the end of the world for me as I can earn back what I lost quite quickly and it is only part of a bigger portfolio and the road is long for me yet - which is exactly why I can wait and find out either way. Not ruling anything out in the short/med term though - how long will this go on I don't have a clue but I don't think people should be ruling anything out in the next couple of weeks but that is another issue. But I am fully expecting this to get back to around my average price of my later buys in second account (not going to say what as don't want to be accused of trying to drive the price down to a certain price, not that it would affect the SP in any way whatsoever...) and then reach new highs sometime after upgraded Hav resource, mining starts or positive news from another site(s).

Nah I had loads of ideas off there that have made money. Also some that didn't turn out great. It is the same as listening to forum recommendations got to do further research and time it right. After all the philosophy of MF and most of the writers is long term value investing - ie buy and keep buying and see returns many years in the future as you will never get the perfect entry point and markets can go down in the near term. if you're looking for a return the next week, month or even year on some of them you are on the wrong site for that.

Been upgraded to £41 by one place but cut to £30 by another. so maybe maybe not.

Yes juri JV and then GH leaving probably were the time to take some off the table or all. Hindsight is great though isn't it. One of those TV type moments though... Go left or go right... But for a hesitation mine would have been sold near the top and how different things might have been (short term). Life hey though I probably would have put it back in at 24p and been no better off anyway.

Second week of April should hopefully give a clearer picture for a lot of shares and sentiment.maybe being allowed to the pub will cheer some people up and reverse the markets as they contemplate what to do with a new isa allowance.

I don't know you and can't remember speaking to you but sorry for your loss. You shouldn't have to explain an absence to strangers though.

You miss the point... we known this has been coming and needed for a year. yet they're still scheduled to take the same time... Clearly not throwing everything we can at this problem. If they can't build vaccine plants in a year when it is the number one priority across the entire globe then there is something wrong and the world isn't working together as it should. Plenty of people to work, plenty of money from governments to throw about. They need to get it sorted ... that is unless they want us all to be locked up forever....
