John, this share is so volatile at the moment i dont think it needs the results to lift it short term. If it was to hit the press anytime over the next few weeks they've sold PLT for a decent amount or any one of many scenarios could see a substantial upside. At the same time though acknowledge the many risks

Also in just saying that just checking a moment ago the spread has reduced from 7% to 2%. could bode well for a rise later

I dont think ive ever seen a spread this wide on a share, around 7% this morning. still nice to be see the buy last week up 5% today. any good good news, or even reassuring news and this will rocket

MT11 on the asos share price recovering makes sense to me as you could argue in this climate its a result with no nasty shocks being at the lower end of the guidance. For this to move up though we need some solid positive news. I still think this share has just as strong a bear or bull case. Im following the CFO and bought again yesterday. obviously though even if my shares double its little consolation for the holders that have been in this since day one

As I understand it oceanpassage Shein are able to undercut everyone because the UK Government has left the small parcels loop hole open for tax. It crucifies asos and debenhams. However what i like about debenhams is they are looking at a broader range of products including larger items like home furnishings so they are not as exposed to this situation.

Ive been on here a day and CWWX has failed to convince me not to make further buys on the lows. Do i follow CWWX's advice or the lead of the CFO that added to the director buys this morning?

Id agree Hexam as far to say none of us on this board absolutely know the outcome for this share. There are so many variables that there's a strong bull and bear case. Its a gamble either way. I have seen many times though that when a share is this distressed the declared short positions are much higher, at least 10% of the stock. Can you explain why that isnt the case CWWX?

Well if these are the best counter arguments on here i will follow the director buys. Im pretty confident the directors will have invested more in the last couple of weeks than the rest of this chat board put together.

Cwwx if the short position is low and insiders to the company are buying stock its a green light for me. I also think the next quarter sales figures will be strong , but that's just my opinion

Come November time you wont be able to buy my shares off me for 30p CWWX. One thing you should be concerned about is the lack of short positions on this stock if you are hoping for bigger falls
