Very strange trading patterns this morning; someone is trying to drop the SP with the same repetitive sells, not very successfully and then a small buy and it jumps back up again. Have felling there's a decent sized buy back incoming

I agree mt11 of course there's a chance it can drop further. Ive been tracking this share to get back in, and on a weekly basis monitoring their online presence. At one point over the summer Debenhams and Boohoos visibility was pretty dire in the search engines and google sponsored advertising. Over the last two months though its improved significantly along with promotional articles with national papers. All a punt but that's why I've re-invested today

Im with silver fox on this; at this level worth a trade so just bought a chunk. Doesn't even need to be particularly good news to see this jump 10-20%

Theres no chance id sell at this level. will be the first to admit i was hoping for better results but now im just seeing this as a buying opportunity. 220's is a bargain in my view

I wouldn't say the movie is over yet. The company is looking more robust and this is a bottom dollar valuation. the way its going it will have recovered by the end of the day. I still think the close of the small parcel loophole next week will pay dividends. Shein increased their uk revenue by hundreds of millions this year because of the loophole

Im agreeing with Matt on rocketing friday. simple logic they've secured better borrowing terms. I wouldnt be lending asos a couple of hundred million on better terms unless they could show me improvement across the board. GLA

Yes they should be positioned nicely to have a good christmas. I will aim to increase my holding then. I had a chunk to reinvest today and asos has won over b&m. they've just refinanced under better terms, results out friday and Reeves is poised to scrap the small parcels loophole in the budget thats allowed shein to decimate asos and debenhams. GLA

I agree i think they will drop off by january either way. I will hold out buying more until then. GLA

Orange do you not think there is a possibility of a drop after the ex dividend date? To make my position clear Im a holder, but i think i will wait until january to make further purchases.

SJ I like the CEO buy but i dont like the rise in the short position. I think at this level its not a major concern but the shorts are rising. My theory on this is that they will aim to create a short term drop in between now and the next results but I hope Im wrong and either way i think in the medium term this is a solid investment.

Also comforting to see another 3.5 million in buys go through after the bell. makes my investment pretty irrelevant

Looking at Blackrocks increased holdings is definitely a bit of comfort after another day of drops. Will be surprised if we dont touch £170 by the end of the week

Great post Senator. today could have been a disaster given the departure of the CFO, but the business looks on track for the busy Christmas trading period. I would like to also be optomistic; the budget isnt going to have too much of an effect on the clientele shopping at B&M over Christmas. if anything it will drive more shoppers to B&M

Just read one article that stated turnaround plan already in progress! the press is being surprisingly receptive to the results

I agree with the could have been a lot worse sentiment! The key thing is the press hasnt done a hatchet job in the first articles released, all reiterating revenue is up! SP is stable today and could easily tick up towards christmas
