Buys are expected and MMs look to be planning to max their take with an absurd % spread. They hardly encourage activity do they?!

Buying opportunities galore whilst things are so cheap. Economy picking up and even AIM shares may pick up soon.

Some significant small buys this morning. A very good entry price for both short term trading and for those of us who believe in the business.

Sorry postman but I agree with THG, we sold the interest in exchange for CDT shares which we now sell at considerable profit. That is the gain. Hopefully the drug is commercialised for the benefit of the world but the only impact for Vela will be moral.

A time to buy.

A happy new year to all holders and patient investors. A nice quiet few days for bargain hunting. Agree re a notional quarterly report math issue, but given our belief in never saying anything sooner than ‘politely late’ we need not worry. Predict news on holdings, followed by some gentle CDT selling, then a delayed quarterly update, and who knows maybe some nice positive news from one or two of the core investments.

Buying the dips is going to become a new year pastime for a number of us I think. The piece of insight I’m after is what particular action followed by RNS will lead to a true share value share price alignment. The merger/sPAC didn’t quite do it, neither did the quarterly or six monthly nor the put option exercise. Next possibility is the first sale of a bunch of CDTs shares, otherwise I’m going to spending far too much time keeping an eye on the CDT sp.

Good idea, I did the same. I use II and despite an overdose of NTs on active days it works ok. Halifax is a bit of a poor business these days. They still send me statements for my kids accounts that were closed over a decade ago despite me telling them n times to save paper and postage! An excellent RNS and should explain to those who were not aware , why Vela could not sell any CDT sooner. There is one comment on here about low cash reserves. They are not low given the operating costs are tiny and we have various small income streams even before the start of the strategic sell off of CDT shares at a higher price. All up from here. BUY today before they get stuck in the 3s. IMHO DYOR Good investing and happy Christmas.

Absolutely. Tried a£40 buy for a laugh and they can’t even supply that. It’s like Morrisons shelves on Christmas Eve!
