The Zimbabwe Chamber of Mines Chief Executive, amongst others, seems to be happy with the new currency as it moves trading from the black market onto an official platform. This should make doing business in Zimbabwe a lot easier.

It is my hope that the VAST board are "quietly confident" about the way forward. I am very interested to see where they take us, for me copper will be the big winner if we can get good quantities of it, the less of our stake we have to give away the better. Having said that we just need to get a move on.

Seems to me that every day VAST become more investable as prices of our metals rise, and it does not look like they are going to stop rising.

I don't follow this board as closely as perhaps I should so not sure if it has been brought up before, but, I do get the impression that AP is perhaps a little too naïve and trusting. When he is told a time frame or date that is it for him. This is a very good trait to have as it generally means that he is a man of his word. However, as has been proven many times people or companies are not exactly true to their word or leave things to the last minute and then delver the bad news.

I am beginning to wonder if this is all to drain our reserves intentionally. IMHO AP needs to throw open the doors to possible JV partners and say first to flash the cash gets the deal, make it sweet but at least it gets the ball rolling. I think we need to change our opinion of ourselves from "a small AIM co. looking to JV with a big boy" to "We have got a good hand, show us yours" I really hope his teeth have been cut now and we are working with a leaner meaner AP who is looking to boost value for VAST shareholders.

They say everything works in cycles months ago everyone loved you and the deals you were making, now everyone hates you so the next cycle is a love you one, lets hope they are correct. IMVHO
