A verdict does not necessarily mean they would have to pay 1bln or 1.5bln or whatever. Countless times the market got surprised by court-decided fines and stocks rocketed. IMHO, obv
Thank you
Any ideas what time are they posting them tomorrow?
Could you please summarise in a few more words the general feeling of the investors there? Thanks
This sets up nicely for INDV's almost regular Friday reversal. Unless there's some intel regular folks don't have. Seems kinda forced just because of Teva's settlement
Is it a real possibility for the DoJ Attorney to withdraw? Or is it almost 100% certain that it was INDV's? It would seem strange for the accusing part to withdraw, but I am uncertain about how this works..
Really nice opportunity imho, expecting a small rally, October incoming. Or I might be entirely wrong, who knows
@Valhalla Nah, I'm already in from an unfairly low price.
But it seems wrongly optimistic to think about how they could make an announcement "tomorrow", considering everything involved.
@RBTrader And what I've been saying is that judges tend to not dismiss in *more* cases than they do (of course, I'd venture to assume that INDV has a stronger case than the average one).
TBH I'm hoping they prove me wrong as soon as possible though :)
Indv has filed the Motion to Dismiss in mid-July. Ruling on a MtD takes around 90-120 days on average, depending on the reason stated in it -- no idea what INDV has filed for.
If this fails (cases like this are rarely outright dismissed) then most often parties agree to a settlement within a 90 day window.
So, it is quite likely to carry on like this (40s-50s) till January -- which wouldn't be the worst imho.

Anyone has any idea about when this happened compared to the final bell?
Is it reflected in the SP? Couldn't find the "original" on the internet, and all articles I found were from later than 7:00 pm.
I don't think it should influence too much, but at this point wouldn't be surprised by some further sliding tbh. Thanks!
@donotpanic
while I am fairly confident that this will end up high eventually, that concept made some people at Debenhams quite unhappy
Unfortunate to say (I'm averaging ~56) but until (unless?) they decide to settle, this sp will probably keep bouncing back and forth to where it's comfy (40s). IMHO
Not really a sophisticated trader/investor, but this makes me question the "The market is always right" idea
well, it's not like DoJ settles for whatever they want, otherwise all settlements will be pushing every company close to administration
Either way, next weeks RNS should be a major turning point in any direction for INDVs near future, right?
Online website that advises everyone on how to make money, oh well
Feels like we should be running out of profit takers from 20/30p imho
Happy holidays all, any opinions on the following opening? Some seemingly major sales on Thursday after hours, unless some people go hard on buying, I think it might start slightly lower
After it got to 20 I've done some checking on this, bought in at 32. I think this is an extremely profitable stock as it is right now. Even in the most pessimistic perspective, there are still too many variables to consider this worth less than 70ish
