What did they say about the World War 1? That it would end after a few months... A year. Ended up going for much longer than expected. Sadly the huge global crises do take more time than expected to overcome.
So i guess it takes time for funding to be agreed and approved...
Only $15M has been given out to date!!! Of which which product has been allocated $13.5M???
World Bank allocated to billions to JUNE 2021 to support including significant chunk towards COVID-19.
About the World Bank
The World Bank Group, one of the largest sources of funding and knowledge for developing countries, is taking broad, fast action to help developing countries strengthen their pandemic response. It is supporting public health interventions, working to ensure the flow of critical supplies and equipment, and helping the private sector continue to operate and sustain jobs. The WBG is making available up to $160 billion over a 15-month period ending June 2021 to help more than 100 countries protect the poor and vulnerable, support businesses, and bolster economic recovery. This includes $50 billion of new IDA resources through grants and highly concessional loans and $12 billion for developing countries to finance the purchase and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
2021 news away from all the UK talk and focus. Wonder what people's views are on this:
Kyiv, 27 January, 2021 – UNICEF has purchased and shipped 1.2 million COVID-19 PCR tests to Ukraine to support the Government’s efforts to address the pandemic in the country. The assistance became available due to the financial support from the World Bank in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The COVID-19 genesig Real-Time PCR tests are produced by Primerdesign Ltd in the United Kingdom. In accordance with the Ministry’s plan, the tests will be transferred to Ukrvaktsyna for further distribution across Ukraine.
The assistance, worth US$13.5 million in supplies and services, will provide state health care institutions with access to 1.2 million COVID-19 PRC tests free of charge. The World Bank’s overall support to COVID-19 testing, including rapid antigen tests, amounts to US$ 15.5 million so far.
Reading through the posts - I dont understand whats being said... Porky every day you are on this forum pumping and pushing with grand statements on SP. Take a chill pill mate. If you really are a long term holder then why do you seem so obsessed on an instant quick SP rerate and return. Surely you've been in NCYT since it was a 3/4th of current price? I've only recently bought in and from what I can see there are some really great posters who I can see been on since early days and that do not post so often. But I find their posts very wise.
I have read and reread the RNS and after passing an initial feeling of "lack of euphoria" due to some excessive forecasts pre-trading up date - I then realised the reality vs MCAP.
Let NCYT do what they do best and the SP will follow. +100k deaths. The gov will have a longer term strategy in place and that doesn't happen in a few months. The key is the partnership and trust Novacyt have and must maintain with them and all the other customers around the world. To some extent I agree the Twitter comments are unprofessional and someone needs to get control of whoever is commenting on behalf of the company. Everyone is looking at the numbers and forgetting the building of a brand - UNICEF have now beem added as a customer... That is more valuable than simply 1.2m. I think testing will be around for the long term.
How can anyone think it right to start shouting about how much money they've made from this terrible pandemic??? Imagine if everyone on the street knew NCYT... Guess what would be in the papers??
Thanks Soder... Quite new to this share and reading your insights and the Numis report I have faith. Completely agree with all the points on EBITDA and Cash in bnk vs MCAP. Seems no brainer so happy to hold and where else can I get 40-50% or more on a company with such low risk right at this time?
Hi. Still new to all this but ultimately sounds like shpuld play nicely. I have some in HEIQ following drop there and interestingly very little comments wise
Level of derampers or ppl hoping the SP will fall is a good sign as it shows interest. Same ppl will have to rocket fuel price rise once they eventually buy in at a lower level. If they didn't think money could be made from NCYT they wouldnt be here surely???
SP angel broker note expected €80M in cash for 2020... Made over 20% more CONFIRMED! Cash is king as they say. So broker estimated €400 cash in couple years time... Add 20%??? Vs MCAP??? How many companies can say they are in this position. Dividends to share holders? Share buy back???
I have been watching and finally bought up some shares at a higher price a couple weeks ago. Extremely lucky to come across such a high growth business. I believe these are an excellent set of results. Would have like even more revenue and profit but that is just getting greedy. Think about it... So the Sept update stated 150M first 14 weeks and 100M next 10 weeks with opportubity to extend to 700 PCR machines inf phase 2. Rereview the calendars if you havent already!!! Results are up to year end 2020 and that only includes first 14 weeks. So to hit £214M in H2 where gov may have temp halted rollout (if believe independent - but only 200 machines), then say NCYT only made £100-120M from UK then NCYT must have other global revenues around the same. It is clearly not a one-trick pony reliant on only UK sales. I believe the way COVID has unexpectedly worsened and more importantly more and more ppl finally believe in getting tested over the world since beginning of the year means the next 10 weeks forecast will be greater than the original £100M quoted for the UK contract alone. If phase 2 gets approved then boom but if not NCYT has now evidenced fingers in lots of pies.
