Girdz, you are joking about helx, presumably?
I think deep down anyone who has been following this is well aware that helx is most likely a contrived character assigned to a bogus account. The motivation of his creator is not obvious, but his disingenuous approach indicates a determination that this business should fail, at almost any cost. He has demonstrated an unnatural and enduring interest in a company that he has nothing positive to say about, even in the presence of what can only be interpreted as positive news.
When the SP is up he disappears, when the SP drops back he re-emerges, sticking the knife in and doing his best to drag it down further. No investor would behave like this, or commit himself or herself to such a prolonged and concentrated campaign without a real vested interest somewhere along the line.
My guess, for what it is worth, is that the helx account is definitely not run by a shorter or an investor, but by either, a competitor, scared witless by BIDS progress or an individual with a very personal grudge.
Afternoon all. Bottmzup, sorry to hear your news, I've been absent of late as we have had similar circumstances, losing a close family member, rather suddenly and unexpectedly.
But life does go on, and it would appear so does BIDS, despite the fact some had written it off over two years ago. That must tell you something, this company is more resilient than any of those derampers would care to admit.
I bought my last tranch over a year ago at 1.83, I'm sorely tempted to buy some more, but I do already hold quite a lot. I'm actualy wondering whether I need anymore, considering where I can see this ending up, and I can't help thinking that the moment we have all been waiting for is finally upon us...
I'm not at all convinced by this at all.
I have three teenage children and I can honestly say that I believe this online cheap clothing fad is over. The youth of today are astute, they listen and are acutely aware of the environmental issues around producing this cheap imported fashion, I dont think they will ever go back to buying large quantities of poor quality clothing online again. My daughter and her boyfriend love visiting charity or vintage shops, its fun and recycling is cool.
Has anyone on here ever actually looked on the Boohoo website? I can see no appeal in the clothing whatsoever, and I do believe this ship has well and truely sailed. Post pandemic, the retail experence is a pastime so many enjoy again, I think we will see a reemergence of the high street fashion stores in years to come. Online mass produced poor quality clothing, sorry but imho it has had its day.
I think you might find business a little more complex than ‘the office is next door’ Girdz. Nice thought though, if only it were all that simple.
Great news, a further renewal, things are falling into place nicely now.
I would suggest helx disappearance is a sign that the battle has been won. Presumably his contract came to an end at the end of July, and the derampers (Allbran included) have been moved on to a new target.
Helx, if you ‘can’t imagine a Director not being bullish’ (sic) then why on earth have you criticised Draper so much in the past for his previous bullish remarks?
Please think things through before you comment, honestly, you and Allbran really ought to get together, I’m sure you could at least keep each other entertained.
Of course everyone is at it Allbran, its such a good idea!
But don't underestimate first mover advantage, just look at Rightmove, now valued at 5.2B, and the number of subsequent property portals that have tried to rival them and failed.
The key here is the inventory and the Azerion deal, if Bidstack continue to get this right the potential is mindblowing. There are far more advertisers out there than estate agents and far more gamers than househunters, and Rightmove is pretty much restricted to the UK, Bidstack have no boundaries.
Good to hear from you Allbran, but regrettably nothing you say is very well thought out. Keep trying.
Wow someone else is trail blazing Bids, there must be something in this after all…do you think this space is going to be big enough to sustain two rival companies Girdz?
I didn't used to think anything posted on here had any affect on the SP, but now I'm not so sure, everytime helx amends his prediction there seems to be a jump. This happened a couple of weeks ago when he changed his mind from 1p to 2p, and again today, the moment he posted 2.6p it jumped to 3.1p. Weird, but kind of wonderful at the same time. Let's test this theory, helx, why not try 3.2p tomorrow morning and let's see if we can get to 4p. As a shareholder no doubt you will be more than happy to oblige. Well done helx, you're turning into the real star of this BB.
Another helx re-rate 2.6 now ,oh dear, oh dear, 1p seems a long way off now...
I agree you Sammy, it is not particularly relevant. What is interesting though is that the SP is up almost 75% from a year ago. I should think anyone that took part in the last placing is absolutely delighted with how their investment has performed. All looking very positive IMHO.
4 to 1 sells to buys today, to be expected with short term investors taking profits, but the SP barely moved. When the selling runs out and the buying begins there will inevitably be a sharp upturn in SP. Todays resilience is quite significant. Bulls didn’t comment with sells outweighing buys and derampers will have acknowledged the reality of the situation. The prospects look very good.
Thanks Bottomzup, that all sounds quite positive then, we will sit and enjoy the rise.
Bottomzup, it would seem that the SP is struggling to breakout from resistance at 3p. Does the chart support this theory and if it manages it what in your opinion might it get to?
I’m not really sure anyone knows how much land 18 quintillions of rice would cover, but glad you liked the story. I had expected helx to come back and say ‘no it wouldn’t’ , despite the fact he is no doubt invested in rice, in one of his many other investments he never posts about!
If you placed one grain of rice on the first square of a chess board, 2 on the second, 4 on the third and so on, doubling it each time, by the 64th square the rice you would require, for that square alone, would cover the entire landmass of the planet one meter deep.
Interesting...just passing time, seeing as we are all here, waiting for the re-rate. 10p or 1p depending on who you are working for.
Like helx, I dont really know where to start with charts, but even I can see the trend in this one, it is looking very good indeed.
I'm not out Bottomzup, I remain very much in.
