roobler, applegarth filtered you last week so will not be able to see your comments.
He has said in the past he posts links and info to share his research for any PI’s who are looking on the bb for the first time to get an idea of the fundamentals and background. I have found some of his insights helpful. If you have a genuine question about EQT he normally responds.
applegarth, thanks for sharing your research and insights over the past few weeks. Made for some good reading. I've been in this stock for around 18 months with a few top ups along the way, so in comparison to some, only for a very short time! Glad I have held my nerve over this period. I have confidence in Eqtec long term, maybe not to the extent of some posters on this board but still happy to be here.
Short term question all, when the RNS landed for the contract, 15th Jan, it was stated the engineering design for Phoenix's first power plant would be delivered within a two month time frame, would completion/feedback of this typically come in the form of an RNS or more of a interview/company news section type update etc...or is my guess as good as yours?
Just looking at what possible news could be imminent, as the sp is holding steady and this makes me feel there must be something? ---> Could be completely wrong though, wouldn't be the first time!
Think i'm right in saying that, Ian in his last interview said, to stop the negative narrative surrounding Eqtec he needed to make one of his own. Think his middle name must be 'bullish'. Not even 6 months on since his appointment and he has delivered on everything he's said, when it comes to adding s/h value and improving communications. Bring on the next contract!
Just following on from the NOMAD question, is there a time constraint (obviously 4pm Thursday for the RNS). But I mean can the change of nominated adviser status be submitted to the exchange at 3:59pm on D-Day, or is there a 'x working days' before?
All I can find is: "...Where a new nominated adviser is appointed a notification will be required under rule 17 and
a new nominated adviser’s declaration should be submitted to the Exchange pursuant to the
AIM Rules for Nominated Advisers..."
I note people are also getting jittery over at AEG, MDZ but I personally share optimism with other posters that EQT should have this ticked off early next week.
Also note, Connemara Mining appointed SP Angel 21.01.19, granting them warrants to acquire up to 2,000,000 ordinary shares. Would granting shares be something Eqtec would entertain? This wasn't the case when they appointed Northland. They left that RNS to 29.11.2017 (although they were given until 19.12.17 on that occasion).
GLA.
Come on give us NOMAD RNS, good things come in 3's... To be fair I think all the stocks who had Northland Capital as their NOMAD are leaving it down to the wire to confirm a new NOMAD. I have been looking at updated RNS's for Active Energy Friday, GCM Resources yesterday, etc... GLA
Just picking up on a point ref. NOMAD status. In my opinion this is just a formality and won’t move the SP once/if we get the RNS before the 1st.
For those following Active Energy, AEG, (who were in the same boat as Eqtec, after the Northland news.) The observation of thier RNS yesterday stating their intentions to move to SP Angel didn’t impact the SP either way come 4pm. Ian asked for patience on this RNS update and I’m quite happy to wait, he’s done no wrong in my eyes since his appointment so happy to hold much longer. GLA
What makes the de-ramp posters think it will head down/ for a penny? Genuine question. The ramp postings do have some detail to why they feel Eqtec is a nice prospect to buy in.
Is it the past that haunts you or do you see the future is the issue? Is a company getting a 10M contract and having Ian improving the communications over the last 5 months really a bad thing? Balanced view would be nice.
I'm looking to invest, not day trade or short stocks. If Phoenix are willing to sign a contract for their technology, rolled out over 2 years, they must have done their homework to make sure Eqtec was a sound company?
Happy Friday All.
Investor1111, the average trade volumes of 3-6 mil, (sp 0.99-0.85p-ish) in early September jumped to +52 mil (sp 1.20p-ish) within a SINGLE DAY based on a simple interview with Mr. Price... not an RNS.
So, if your speculation that an RNS will be coming, and it will confirm a signed contract, irrelevant of any of the other finer details where the hell would that leave us with the current sp at 1p? Possibly with some pocket money. Therefore we would all be a big happy family, Ian would have told the truth and as we have all taken long positions here it would all be good... wouldn't it...???

This weekend marked 10 years since EQTEC's (KEDCO) admission onto the AIM.
Back then investors were told: "Kedco's customer base faces increasing legislative and regulatory cost pressures driven by environmental considerations. The Directors believe that Kedco's proposition offers these customers the opportunity to create a revenue-generating opportunity from waste materials that might otherwise incur a significant disposal cost. The Directors also believe that Kedco's significant experience in sourcing effective technologies and potential partners provides it with an early-mover advantage in the marketplace."
This all still remains true and now Ian Price and his management have the baton.
With 10 years of RNS's, hopefully CONTRACT news is the next one!
Thanks for the update JBmcr, so the 6 listed major shareholders own around 80% of the shares. Leaving around 20%, 361,119,621 shares for everyone else. Question is, how many of these do the amigos amigos hold...
Question for you veterans out there, how can you assume the other 20% is 'tightly held stock with little free float', would that not suggest it would then be illiquid or am I being naive. I suppose what I am really asking is do the recent daily volumes back that train of thought up or is it not that simple? Perhaps this isn't the board for helpful pointers.

tonyh123, your buy showing as a sell, in simple terms, is down to the spread that was set at the time of your transaction (the ones that are not 'officially' shown) and the archaic way to calculate the mid point. Basic example: Bid 1p, Ask 2p, therefore 1.5p would be the mid range. If you then buy at 1.4p, as it is below mid range, will show as a sell.
The criticism or general thought is that mm's create a 'false spread' to tell their own story on sells and buys. When the spread gets tight, like with EQT on most days recently, it makes the buys and sells harder to spot. Like with your buy, I mean sell ;)
Not all investors agree why, but at the end of the day, IMO, it is just the mm's doing their job, rinsing small time PI's of there money and patience and keeping a companies share liquid and tradable. Lots on Google about it... SEAQ, and all that jazz.
The rampers would have you believe EQT is simply being manipulated, mm's helping to fill large orders for the 'boys' or 'tree shaking' before a lovely RNS drops.
Doc-Rampers, I mean De-rampers, would have you believe that EQT is just hot air, and that mm's are trying to put lipstick on a pig...
Do you want to kiss a pig in a tree that is being shaken? Answer: RNS!!! (Really. Not. Sure.).
Oh God, it really is past my bedtime... School in the morning, must go.
GLA. DYOR.
2p or not 2p... that is the question.

Just wondering if any holders have looked into exactly what makes the Eqtec Iberia patented technology so different from others in this market? Was looking at others companies, like those cited in the granted patents, the technologies here are really interesting and there are a few at it.
Wondered if anyone with a good understanding of the energy recovery technology had any thoughts on why going forward EQT would be the preferred supplier? Perhaps I should ask Phoenix Energy...
Peter, I agree, patience and all that. Was just a little bit of tongue in cheek. My sarcasm is at unhealthy levels before the morning coffee. That aside, I’m not selling, just sat on my hands awaiting an RNS and still believing in the fundamentals of EQT. GLA
wife: honey there’s a large hole in the roof, as you are so busy in your new job could you source an engineer to sort? Ian: of course my sweet, I’m glad you highlighted this and to make sure you're supported I’ll sort this ‘immediately’. neighbour: Ian, that’s a lovely water feature you have running through the middle of your house. New job going well? GLA
IF there are big contracts on the horizon then they will need funding. For long term holders it is how the new look board act in this instance that will matter. As always with a speculative stock, No. of MM's and RNS's are key here.
