Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I’m with castaway on this one BP licence is definitely not priced in and it’s going to have a positive impact on SP when it comes. The only thing that was factored in positive wise was that previous rise towards the finance agreement, the delay announced prior just gave traders a great opportunity to get in cheap and as such when we did rise towards that final announcement, we sold off rather than plowing through to the 80’s. The sell off created a bit of negative bios and despite getting some very excellent RNS since, it’s been muffled by that negativity. Some large investors have chosen to take profit, but the volumn has slowed of recent, people are holding fast and things look to be picking back up too. I don’t believe the new Europa mine in Zim is properly factored in either, any update on this will create a further push up. We also have the licences to come for the upgrades planned for Manailia which will lead to a further 25% increase to profits made at the mine once the construction of the new plant is completed. This as it unfolds should have a steady impact upon the SP. Then we have those 452 million odd warrants, now those buggers are perhaps factored in, but on a negative prospective that is. Some investors may be holding back thinking those warrants are a big question mark hanging round the neck of Vasts success in whether we will meet the quota to achieve the 2nd traunch of financing from Mercuria. This in my opinion is not a major concern to current holders as many here have highlighted, that even without the BP licence, the quota should easily be met by Manailia production alone. Come end of July we should be quids in to start production on the new plant either way and those warrants will be a thing of the past! Till then let’s see what else AP will pull out of the hat. If all goes well, we could have the licence by then too and have two new mines on a 6-9 month count down to production. So Q1 update expected this week, BP licence soon. I’m kind of happy that AP did not say immanent or give a specific time scale for BP. No one knows when, so best forget waking every morning at 7am saying is it here yet! Waiting for overdue RNS on aim is like waiting for paint to dry, it happens a lot quicker if you don’t stand there watching for it. Let go of the BP licence and focus on all the other exciting things that are coming into play here. GLA
Thanks for the update Lee and thanks for answering my questions on the day too. Much appreciated! I did not manage to get to speak to AP in the end as I had to leave the show early. However it was clear that AP was beaming with confidence that day and was very busy chatting to others, so am happy that I at least got a hand shake and introduction in passing. Had a really good chat with you while you were supporting the team there. Left the show on a high feeling very confident about my investment. Cheers Lee :)
Even if the license isnt agreed the production from manaila should cover the terms agreed for traunch 2, but I recon the license is very close. When it does come we will be set for two mines going into production within the next 6 months, maybe sooner for eureka if the other two companies involved decide to go all in straight away. I think that discussion maybe on the table when AP goes back to Zim this week. Either way very exciting times ahead.
Thanks guys, I noticed your post Phoebus but only just after I asked about 3rd drill, was to busy tippy tapping and going back and forth between news updates. Will back track and read up on El Barco-3X. Would be nice to see confirmation of the farm in agreement near term. Definitely starting to add up here :)
So now we have 5% interest in Colter Prospect - which could potentially holds 26.8 mb, expected to be drilled 2nd or 3rd quarter. 15% interest in Wicks Prospect - with about 250 mb, expected to drill towards end of 3rd quarter. Both of these relatively low risk and close to home which is a definite plus. Whats the 3rd drill Spike mentioned is that in Peru?
So four possible drills expected this year and it would appear that they will have plenty of cash to cover them too. Will be interesting to see what insight this prensentation on the 14th brings to the table. Would like to see an update before then if possible. This share needs a bit more exposure to bring it into the limelight. I think confirmation of another deal could easily push this 1p+. Going to be a very lucrative year here if all the pieces fall into place.
Thats a well put together article, nice find Milcait, like the picture they included too. Think Baron have the right idea jumping in on this could mean a nice lucrative earner for the company in the nearer term. I like the new approach the company has taken, taking on prospects closer to home. Im interested to see what other plays they are going to approach near term. Good old gold oil, this was the very 1st share I ever invested in back when I started in 2009, granted I sold at a very slight profit... 2 but none the less a wins a win, especially as the price fell shortly after.
