Somehow I doubt they are going to waist their time weighing it all just to update their shareholders with an exact figure. I think it's safe to assume it was a visual estimate. Whether that was an over estimate or under estimate does not really matter. For AP to have made such a claim, it would indicate that there is a significant stock pile down there, enough to keep us in production for a long time. I also doubt very much they will only focus on processing the pre prepared ore, as after all, they are down their to actually mine BPM, so they will most likely target rich deposits to mine too. Having that prepared ore as a reserve Is a big bonus in my opinion, as it will help fast track production in the short term & also help keep the wheels turning above for the foreseeable future too.
Max, here is the link to the presentation, I have configured the link to start exactly where he quotes about the 2 years worth of production prepared since 2014, to be clear though it is still in the underground when he makes this claim:

However I think this really does highlight how much of big deal it is having the locomotives in play, we will finally be able to move that 2 years worth of pre-prepared production to the surface to be processed... Cha-Ching!!! £$€!!! ;-)
The whole presentation is definitely worth a watch, so anyone new to investing on vast may want to rewind to the start & play it all the way through.
Things are definitely starting to pick up for BPM, looking forward to seeing the next update on the progress made. The JORC results on BPM cannot be to far away either.
Max you do remember correctly... AP voiced in a previous presentation a while back that there is 2 years of production that was pre prepared since 2014 just sitting there. That's a hell of a lot of rocks to churn.
Thanks for the very detailed explanation Sandy, much appreciated, I will definitely have a play around with the cargo numbers later on when I get the chance. Also thanks to Dave for posting the extra links. Thumbs up to you both :)
Was a good volume day, 256m traded, could be double that tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing the diamond deal signed in the short term. Will bring a new feeling of positivity to this board once done. Then we have JORC results & equipment arrival for BPM to look forward to as well. Keep the faith guys & face out the noise in the meantime. ;)
When you change your tune frequently just to suit the direction of the SP, your going have to except that some will shoot you for it. Shows a lack of integrity. People on here won't trust your opinions because of it.
ORCP was in fact one of the shares I was thinking of too. I unfortunately sold mine & bought in elsewhere to my regret. The only reason I'm holding in that other company now is because I believe that I'll get my money back & then some later down the line. If I didn't believe that I'd have sold up & taken a chance elsewhere. Good luck with ESL, hope you pick a really good company after that at an awesome price :)
Sam if you truly believe that ESL has a future & will bounce then hold, however if you think they suck, then pick another share that has far better potential. Pretty much all the AIM shares are down at the moment at bargain prices too. I know you have been invested in quite a few of recent as I've seen you posting else where too. Pick a good one that you know the fundamentals well & hold. Good luck dude :)
Glad to see your back in Sonic, perhaps it's time you turned over a new leaf & started booming rather than glooming. Hope you didn't mind me teasing before, was just light hearted fun. ;)
"These initial shipments will allow the company to commence production within the six month timeline on financing as indicated in our corporate presentations."
I read this as they expect BP will be in production within the 6 month timeline, being the 6 months from when financing started & when we have to cough up the doe or refinance elsewhere to avoid defaulting & further dilution of the share pool. So if Sandy is right we should get about 3 months production in before then, admittedly that does sound like it may be cutting it fine. However a lot can happen before then, especially if we sign the Diamonds deal in the short term.
Anyways if you are truly back in, then best of luck to you. :)
