Who ‘sabotaged’ the moon horse by replacing it with a one legged rocking horse?

It’s not just about raising cash for working capital - without changes to their business model the money will quickly be burnt through and will need another top up by the end of the year. They probably have enough cash to keep going for a couple of months so my guess is that we’ll not hear much for a while.

Yes the plan makes sense in the current regulatory environment. The total cost of employing someone continues to increase so exiting the branded restaurants completely is necessary. A shame, but that’s the times we live in.

Also noticed that cost inflation at the upper end of guidance -7.5%. I’m guessing a large part of that is energy and food. Probably more representative inflation figure in general than the official numbers given that proportionally people have to buy food and energy more often than a new TV.

Let’s be realistic here, on previous cash burn they are going to need a lot of cash. Current Mcap is around 6million, they will need to raise at least half of that to keep going for a year.

I agree that it’s likely they’ve already tried and not been able to get a placing underwritten. Probably for the amount they need it was too much.

Any upside looks to be latter part of FY26/27 as well. My fear is that if the cash raise doesn’t cover the gap and then some they will be under pressure again in Q4.

I really liked one of SD’s final responses at the TH last night about the career opportunities available to Greatlands workforce.

Before Greatland took over the mood music was that Telfer didn’t have a lot long left so the workforce did not necessarily see this as a place for career development. But now with the Telfer extensions and Havieron there is many decades of mining on offer, and I think it was 5 types of mining that the workforce can potentially experience just in one company and one location which is a great differentiator for recruitment and retention for the workforce vs other companies

For me it reiterated that there is a multi-faceted growth story here over many years and the team in place are more than capable of delivering this.
