The problem as i see it is the BOD just cant grasp that the share price is driven by Private investors.
You can give away as many cheap shares as you want to corporates, and secure your position on the board in return, but cheap shares collapse the share price. You may get away with it once or twice but this lot have been at it for years and presided over a monumental share price collapse since they started out on Toral. There is now zero trust between private share holders and the BOD.
The result will be a sudden spike on any good news and then a crash again. No one is interested in what happens to EUZ after Toral, PI's are here to back Toral. LR is the only one interested in his job on going, no one else cares. Unfortunately the damage has been done. The corporates have thrown their money down the drain unless they are prepared to continue to throw millions at this to keep their hopes alive. DB have already started on that spiral and been sucked down from 12.5p to 4.5p.
Why am i so sure that this is the case ?

Because the company has done absolutely nothing to say otherwise in their trading update or their AGM, on Twitter or via telepathy. They dont know what they are doing/looking for/buying/where it might be or how they will finance it and neither do we.
A new project to return shareholder value ? How about returning some on the old project first.
LR appears to want to go the long road, to do that you need a buoyant SP and to get that you need private investors because they drive the SP. If you continually shaft the private investors with cheap shares to corporates and endless dilution guess what.....The PIs just go elsewhere... and looking at the trades over the months/years thats exactly what they have done.

Agree Miln, not including AQSE however it demonstrates the point about the size of the shareholder base.
Actual sells today were 123k with no buys recorded however i also agree that there are trades outside the spread so its only ever a rough guide.

Actually not 95% but probably 75%+

Not a single trade over £500 and thats the problem with trying to unite a shareholder register thats probably in the 1000's
You could well have 95% of holders vote against something and the 5% could still win. :-)

The fact is 1 voted for and 15 voted against. in other words 93.75% of those that voted voted against all motions.

As i said yesterday with DB backing the BOD there is little point in even holding a vote open to others unless the shareholders are united in a group.

Its pretty std. It makes a complete nonsense of voting at AGM's .
Its why i said over a year ago you must have a Share holder group to be in with any chance of having a say. If Shareholder votes are not registered in a group they are pretty much worthless. It means that a group like DB with the BOD can ride rough shod over PI's, even if PI's like us have a majority of the available votes, as they know they have all the undeclared votes in hand.
The sad fact is we are passengers in a carriage with no access to the drivers cab and its hurtling towards bankruptcy (unless we can change the driver) ha ha, good luck with that :-)

Here is an interesting thought.
Did Brexit voters take the UK out of the EU ? I don’t think so. Ironically, I think the blame for us leaving the EU lies with those that wanted to stay in the EU who guaranteed we would leave by “not” voting. Apathy won the day.
The same apathy won the day at the AGM, so few bothered to vote that the motions were passed by default.
LR was handed the right to do whatever he pleases knowing that the shareholder base is so disorganised its irrelevant to the direction of the company. For a nation that prides itself on democracy and has gone to war many times to impose democracy on others, there is a disconnect here that the company rules exploit by taking the non-voters votes as their own, thus those who don’t vote, ironically win the day over those that do..
At a time when the company desperately needed the shareholders to step and give us a guy that could return some value on the asset, they instead turned their back and said get on with it.
Shareholders, DB, Twitter, Turner Pope, and this forum became irrelevant after the AGM as we removed any accountability from the BOD to us, with our apathy. :-)

MM i think that was the general agreement at the time , a mix up on tickers or European metals and Europa metals etc.

Started as "in the beginning" its was 20p and dropped to 0 .015, then there was a 500:1 consolidation so what started as 20p x500 is £100.00.
Yes, over the years the company has scrapped assets, started others, changed its name and artificially re rated its SP with a consolidation but its still the same company to all those that invested over 5 years ago. They could buy another asset as they say they will and change their name again but its still the same company to investors.

People driving around in a Datsun 260z and those in a Nissan 350z will understand this :-)

Consolidation creates a false picture. This is still the same company that dropped from 20p to 0.015p and has failed to get its SP up since. The reality is it had to consolidate in order to get the £2m , placing away last year or there would have been 40 billion+ in issue and this years placing would never have happened.
The company bought itself a year or so with consolidation but time is running out as further consolidation will take the Mkt cap to pretty much worthless. I can see this being bought out for peanuts when LR has finished squeezing every last drop of value out of it. Maybe thats what DB and the new Aussie investors are planning ?

That said it makes no odds now, its finished, a lucky few in under 12p might get most of their money back

Shame he couldn't come up with something intelligent. You could try doing a little research instead of just lampooning those that do.

The goal post have moved not least with a new unexplained strategic direction. No longer being able to complete the PFS and the loss of a potential deal.
The position now is we dont know about the future for Toral, what effect a strategic new direction will have on finance or the reason for diverting energy away from Toral. The broker note is way out of date and the impression is of a BOD now scratching their head wondering what to do next. Quite frankly companies dont undertake expenses/remuneration reviews if they think a deal worth and substantial amount ids in the table.

Once again LR has managed to fend off the questions without really telling us anything new and he is probably even now wondering why the SP is down on the placing price.
Its simply not good enough.

I dont see an obligation to disclose potential partners or interested parties unless an offer was made at which point it becomes a matter for shareholders. The mistake was probably mentioning any possible value event too early. there is of course a possibility that there is another potential deal in the offing ? That might explain this sudden financial ability to explore other options :-)
I have never read an RNS, tweet or even listened to hearsay from EUZ and come away any the wiser and i realise now thats not going to change. As LTH's we can maybe accept that but as far as informing potential new investors or attracting new investors its a huge negative as the volumes and SP of the last few years demonstrates. While i have little idea where the company stands at least now i know where i stand :-)

Bricks, i get your good intention and your upset but this is like when you wanted to report me to Interpol and legal offices for criticising the Company as a paid deramper. :-)
IMHO there was a deal, they put into the public domain as a "potential" value event and it fell through
The wisdom of that is open to question but as shareholders have been begging the company to try and talk the asset up, i think its understandable.

the most you can accuse the BOD of really is a lack of understanding ? experience ? maybe a naivety in their PR and the workings of a PLC but that is not a crime.
I think we have pretty much established from the votes at the AGM that LR is in control and we either go along for the ride or we get off at the next stop. He has not tabled any other options. He cant magic up a deal, He is not going to keep shareholders informed outside the minimum "need to know" and he probably could tell you more but me would have to kill you as well :-)
He is not going to let on who the deal might have ben with and i wouldn't expect him too out of respect for that party's privacy.
Basically there is no one here now who doesnt know the situation with the BOD, with the lack of PR and the new strategic direction the BOD has chosen. Its not a secret you will probably have to pay for it and, i suspect, even those in at 5p will be singing from out song sheet as us in a year or two unless there is a drastic change in circumstances, you either hang on for that .....or you pick up your petticoats and run for the hills :-)

They said they were funded for the major PFS components a year ago, they said they would do a PFS in the hope they wouldn't need a BFS
They say they are funded for 12 months but also still say they are looking for another project ( so will not be funded for 12 months) they didn't explain the logic behind another project ( strategic direction) while admitting they cant fund the PFS for the project they have let alone another project, None of it adds up as we have less than half the story
Full marks to Cjen for trying but i dont feel any more enlightened than i did yesterday.
Toral looks like rattling on for another year or till they run out of money again and no mention of funding for a new project or even what that might be. The only ones guaranteed to make money this year are the BOD again.

The BOD has survived because of PI voter apathy and little else. shame they didn't survive on Merit.

Surely they didnt spend £275k on 1.5m shares ?
