Oldslow- my rough yardstick is 30days in a month and $33 profit = £1k per barrel per month. So 250 barrels = £250k, times 10 months (to be conservative, operational issues, margin of safety = $2.5m per annum.

The storage tanks alone are probably worth the purchase price.

I am in both. PTAL is great, and like a lot of oil stocks, suffered an inexplicable 25% drop Oct to Dec. The difference is PTAL has recovered, whereas JSE has not. JSE has similar income, but large debt (due to capex) vs PTAL none. In theory, JSE should now start reaping the benefits of the investments and start paying down that debt. As it does so, value will rise. A much better investment now than when I first bought in 2022, when JSE was paying a divi.
