The daft thing is SP was over 23p when placing was announced. Since then, acquired CB with RBL, successfully drilled Cas 5, raised £5m at 20.5p, increased CB production, provided visibility of millions of dollars to be received shortly. And the price is down because we haven't had the dilution expected. Mad.

There was discussion of why the shallow sands are being perforated. It just occurred to me the next milestone is paying for the CEG Trinidad assets, in shares. So, to make that as little dilution as possible, you want a high SP (fewer shares needed). So by going for the activity with the best chance of raising the SP, PG is looking out for shareholders (incl himself)? Paying the first tranche now would be half the price of a week ago.

Maybe they will? Or maybe PG has been asked to test the shallow sands first? Or maybe he thinks that is a higher chance of success to get the ball rolling again? Or maybe there is a deal on the table contingent on testing the shallow sands? Maybe that triggers advance payments that allow other things to progress?

Rereading RNSs of 8 May and 16 June, it looks like TXP has contracted with Oak only, for the 75m shares. So Oak is on the hook. Presumably it is Oak's DD on Portillion, not TXP's that should be queried.

Let's see if Zak Mir is right about 8p. I've taken a small profit today on some of the stock bought after mou5, but still hold more than before that event.

Interest returns?

The bigger risk is the perforating guns getting through two layers of casing. The original plan was sandjet. Someone with more O&G knowledge might advise on this and the prospect of mud ingress (which I'm thinking is minimal given pressure differential at the time).

Could this be for 'intelligent customer ' functions? As they already do this, could this be just a regular replacement of folk that have left?

Those of us who bought at 12p and are up 25% on those purchases disagree.

The test can detect lung cancer at stage 1. This seems to be evaluating whether it can detect even earlier. I wonder whether they are using this to test sensitivity vs the other cancers as well?
