I'm getting tired of all this attacking the company. You invest in O&G exploration, you know it will be a long road with operational setbacks, exploration disappointments, delays, and dilution. Folks have invested in the potential of the licence area, which is slowly being revealed. No-one is pumping and dumping. Some of us keep a core holding and buy the dips and sell the subsequent rise. Some need to man up and accept that if they bought at 16p, they made the decision to press the button, no-one else.

I remember being criticised for saying I had sold some at 6p, noting the price had flattened as some were obviously derisking. You can't have it all ways.

If you are designing the well with a shallower TD, then you need less thickness of casing. It's like a telescope. Everything can be smaller (easier to perforate).

I was thinking back to the small perf guns, and wondering why the shallow sands rather than the swabbing of the lower as planned. Is it a possibility that ONHYM are influencing things, or is the swabbing kit not available? Or was he advised there was no formation damage, so should be a higher chance of success? Is PG treading a tight path, doing enough to keep the authorities happy? I'm not convinced he is deliberately slow walking, but I think he sees /puts greater value in well data than others. Is he still hoping for the major to swoop in, or using that as leverage (PRD are more likely to work at the bidding of ONHYM?)? I'm suggesting there are dark forces, but maybe some in country would be delighted if the licence was available to them.

I do wonder sometimes whether PG spends quite a bit of time and effort doing things to keep Moroccan authorities reassured, meeting the letter of licence commitments, when actually he would prefer to do something different.

All the comms routes have a cost - RNS, interviews, meetings. AS runs a very lean ship. Do we want comms just for the sake of it, if there is nothing to report?

10 days of testing. Does that include analysis? If not, add a few days. Then write the RNS, and spend more time getting it approved by ONHYM. Could be longer than we think.

Another interesting question. If 2d seismic is so rubbish, and the lines are far apart, how did PG hit such a rare gas in two wells? Either it is quite prevalent in the area (good choice) or he is quite good or very lucky (both are useful).
