Ambitious - Not a straight answer I am afraid. Currently the company is valued on 'potential' rather than NAV or income. Conversion of that potential to income depends on success and uptake of the products. Results newsflow will drive the SP. Just need to wait. Happy to hear other views.

Just another vote for the book referenced by BRV >’Richer, Wiser, Happier’ by William Green. I devoured it over Christmas, having picked it up in the airport.

However, I think it is noteworthy that all bar I think one of the investors profiled, was a fund manager for a period, and was managing clients' money. I think when you are investing your own money (i.e. much smaller amounts but not accountable to anyone but yourself), the types of companies and the strategies can be adjusted to suit. The broad principles hold though.

I agree Olad. Plus there is the reported pressures (see GRH's reminder of Ultradrill). So it is unlikely it won't flow. Just a question of how much comes out.

That's the big question, isn't it, along with 'how likely'? I can see the T&T business being sold or JV'd in the next few months. Ireland could decide to launch a tender for a FSRU this week, or someone may decide they want our gas field for a millions. Or nothing could happen for ages. Morocco will mov e sooner. A positive Mou1 test next quarter, and a either the SP takes off or we get a JV to develop. We could get a JV before that, safeguarding the company. The risk is we don't get finance, and a marginal well test throws the whole project in doubt. The next few months are critical.

Not long now. PB has guided mid-March for release of information, which will include updated (much increased) reserves and Royston test results. This should also include results of 3/4 new legacy oil wells in the west, Coho hookup and plans (update?) for Royston Deep. Once the market has an NPV for Cascadura and Royston, we should see some progress on the SP. February paycheck may be the last opportunity for cheap shares.

Yeah, that's where I got it from as well. Wouldn't surprise me if it was just an issue with a parameter on an auto data feed.

Think it's because it is Jersey registered, not UK.

Recent change in Irish government energy policy. Gas no longer evil. New gas power stations to be built. EU policies on energy security. Existing licences to be honoured.

Realisation that Morocco drill results were actually good. EU investment in to Morrocco energy. Moroccan government mentioned Guercif as a source of gas.

Basically lots of things coming together.

10p was always going to be a psychological barrier for the SP. Anyone that bought around 5p would be tempted to sell for double their money, in pretty short order in some cases (e.g. if bought last week). Suspect we may hang around here for a while. Consolidation not a bad thing.

Hi Keith, Apologies, I was being slightly facetious. However, for me, it doesn't matter if PRD sells something for £1b or $1b. The result will be the same - absolutely life changing - I'll be taking early retirement.

I wonder if the SP continues up, whether PG might be tempted to place and fund Guercif ourselves? Or wait until after the Mou1 test?

Dollars or Sterling doesn't make a material difference - the answer is 'jackpot'.

The last lot were sold at 20+p. Think the BOD will hold for that.

What was also interesting was the last live presentation on the website, with PG talking about needing at least 3 wells to produce from MOU. He's confident of going in to production. Which makes you think, my last holding that opened up a new basin (TXP) went from mcap £15m to £200-300m, and still has further to go once production is onstream. I'm expecting PRD to do the same.

I was looking through the files linked from the Dec RNS last night. Schedule given as follows:
Feb/mar - test Mou1
April - Mou4 well pad construction
May - Mou4 drill

Interestingly, everything beyond drilling Mou4(Inc. Testing Mou4) is 'contingency only'. Does PG think we will have sold by then?!
