Hmm. Biodegradable plantpots. Not sure that will capture the imagination of investors. However, it is exactly the kind of thing that a certain segment of society will go for. Not sure it's big business though.

It still amazes me that we can drill a hole 2 miles deep, but only 3inches wide. We can then work out what is down there, with the only connection being a pipe. If that wasn't clever enough, things are then done at the bottom of that hole (measurements, perforations, mudding, cementing, packing, isolating, collection of samples) to target sections that are in some cases only 30 feet deep.

I would think Paul is highly motivated to ensure the team delivers a good solid result as soon as possible.

I think a lot of folk saw the RNS and thought that Royston was effectively a duster, with just the 'crappy rock' at the bottom. It certainly surprised, and for many, not in a good way after Paul said it was amazing and expecting a gas discovery. 50bopd wasn't what was hyped. Never mind the upper untested interval could be 200ft thick and 5 square miles! Can understand if you can't read between the lines, are impatient, and see the price dropping. Initial impressions can be wrong, and I'm more interested in how the company views it, which is two large discoveries, to be developed ASAP.

More large sells. I saw another 50k shares transaction. Hopefully just wealth transfering from the impatient to the patient. Plus we'll now have folk that bought yesterday at 105 taking 10%. Hopefully it will settle down. PB seems to have a lot of faith in a good result in 2 weeks time. Fingers crossed for that.

And yet we are down again this morning.

I see a sneaky uncrossing trade to misrepresent to closing price. MM games again. Hope no-one gets fooled in to selling tonight.

Indeed Malbrad. So, are the different pockets / compartments? Was it the other side of a fault. Or are we going to see gas in the higher interval? The joys of exploration.

Remember folks, when Coho and Cascadura are connected, that will be 70+mcf/d @$6m net per 10mcf/d = $42m profit per year, just from gas. That's £30m, so mcap should be £300m on a p/e of 10. Current mcap £230m. Add the oil and condensates. Add the reserves value and exploration upside. If you are prepared to wait 1-2 years, this is a giveaway.

If you said pre drill that Royston was huge and would flow at 500bopd, we'd be happy, right?

More bang for the buck at Cascadura vs Coho, and oil vs gas?

The market is basically saying that because of the 90% water cut, that this interval is only flowing 50bopd, so is therefore seen as a major disappointment. This is what is called an arbitrage of knowledge. Those able to read the RNS and interpret (thanks to all those that have provided technical knowledge and info today) are able to see this is not a dead interval. And even if it was , we are massively below value for Cascadura. I look forward to further testing and the reserves update over the coming months. It might have some folks kicking themselves. In the meantime, I shall accumulate as much as funds allow.

Now they know what is down there, and where the water cut is, presumably they can design a solution optimised to minimise water and maximise oil?
