Bilbo. This might help. It's part of a description of how WF works. "Water is injected to support pressure of the reservoir, and also to sweep or displace oil from the reservoir, and push it towards a well." Might be of some use to you?

You are very welcome BigJake. I only wish I could be showing positive growth in the MAT. Unfortunately that hasn't happened for over 2 years. Our best ever MAT was 728,103 in April 14 to March 15. Our current MAT isn't quite HALF of that - but is is perilously close. I wonder if WF is going to be as good as BTP? Ho-Hum...

Monthly production for the Month of January in :- 2012....... 50 2013..... 280 2014.....1,701 2015.....2,052 2016.....1,417 2017.....1.406 2018..... 902 This is a massive reduction on last year of 35.85%.... Adequately explained in the RNS by "unscheduled work overs on several wells may have contributed to the drop in production" - What a load of spheres !!! If we didn't have scarlet on the ball - we would be none the wiser..... Ri ck is a Di ck..... He has to go - and NOW. Now the MAT figures :- Total production for the period from :- 01.02.2013 to 31.01.2014.......... 409,034 01.02.2014 to 31.01.2015.......... 717,200 01.02.2015 to 31.01.2016.......... 635,065 01.02.2016 to 31.01.2017.......... 481,753 01.02.2017 to 31.01.2018.......... 389,737 This is a drop of 19.10% on last year. It is the first time we have slipped below the 400,000 barrier since the end of 2013. The phrase "just not good enough" is just not good enough........... Rick has to go.... I will now sit back and await all those keen eyed and accurate individuals make accusations that the Hick sees everything through "rose-tinted" glasses. Come on, have a pop.... Morning Scarlet. Yes, monthly reports went like clockwork under SG. Just how hard is it to produce these figures????? Our beloved Rick seems to revel in "pigging" off as many people as possible. I mean who on earth do these Cogis peeps think they are - demanding monthly figures. And as for shareholders - well they can go sit and swivel.... Good idea to nudge Cogis (thanks). Rick obviously thinks they are toothless tigers. But I have never met a civil servant yet who won't take an opportunity to extract revenge when a chance beckons. Why make enemies? (glued to the TV tmro - pint of the black stuff in each hand - balance, lad, balance....lol)
