Morning all... Slash. Seasons felicitations to you as well. The current Mrs H is still hale and hearty - but I am working on it. I have a cunning plan which involves hippopotamussss ( hippopotami?) and mud - no one will ever suspect me there!!! Was at the Maternity Unit last night, anxiously awaiting the birth of wife No 7, so I have to keep up with the malkys............ I think u r right gold will bloom - there r suggestions of $2,000 next year ( & $5,000 in not too distant future) - but it aint playing atm. NK - sorry to hear about your pal. I go to more funerals now than anything else. The problem is that all my mates suffer from the same disease - its incurable - its called date of birth. Sorry RSL not for me. I think that if the EU can start dictating what rates insurers can charge - its the thin edge of the wedge. If u want something fixed any government will step in and make a complete knickers of it. I shudder to think what they could do to the life assurance industry which has prospered for centurys without any interference. Id be afraid, very afraid, to get too close to this one....Hope it works for you ( u canny ould burger).
